Lounge Dining Area : The lovely sunny lounge has 2 comfortable sofas and wall mounted flatscreen tv , it benefits from triple windows looking out on to the courtyards garden area and has a dining table with 4 chairs

Kitchen: The fitted kitchen is equipped to cater for 4 persons and has oven and hob, fridge freezer and washer/dryer

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has a double bed with built in wardrobe , bedroom 2 has twin single beds and buit in wardrobe.

Bathroom: The bathroom has a white bathroom suite with an electric shower for those that prefer to bath there is instant hot water courtesy of a combi boiler.

The property is best suited for 5 adults maximum or 4 adults and 2 children

Edinburgh is Scotland's capital city , set between Edinburgh Castle and Holyroodhouse runs The Royal Mile , a World Heritage Site where you will find cobbled streets and old closes steeped in history with the stories of Burke and Hare and Deacon Brodie.

In Edinburgh's new town you will find beautiful Georgian buildings with the main shopping areas of Princes Street and George Street.

Pleasance

The Pleasance area is in the heart of all the festival venues, and nearby to Edinburgh University and Festival Theater.

You will find an abundance of local bars and restaurants to suit all tastes.

"Lived up to our expectations"

Excellent stay at Gilmour's Entry. Property was ideally situated and very nicely presented. The owner met us at the property to show us around and answer any questions we may have had on our visit to Edinburgh.

"Nice apartment in great location with added bonus of free private parking."

Apartment is neat & tidy with decent living space for family of 4. Location is great (being just minutes from Royal Mile). Parked car up on the Friday we arrived and never used it at all during the week of our stay. The apartment is well kitted out, but would benefit from a microwave and a hoover. The one downside was the electric shower (had to run around to get wet). The property benefits from a combination boiler so, for me, a shower straight from the mains would make all the difference.

"Very pleasant self-catering accommodation"

A very nice flat with a garden view, a short walk from the Royal Mile. Comfortable beds and very clean. Wendy met us and showed us round the flat, and even left some most excellent shortbread for us! Only downside is the internet connection didn't seem to be working during our stay, but expect this will have been fixed by now.

"High quality decor and great central location in Edinburgh"

Reason for stay: visiting family in the City. Location: great- walking distance to Edinburgh University residence if visiting family, town and Arthur’s Seat. The apartment comes with a parking space and is situated in a lovely courtyard. Felt secure. The apartment: beautiful apartment and very tastefully decorated. Loved that there were two rooms and one was a twin room so you can stay with friends and not have to share the bed. Hand & bath towels provided for each person (up to 4 can stay). All mod cons and crockery etc for a self catering stay. Hair dryer, WiFi and we were very grateful for the milk and tea bags that were there on arrival. My only hesitation would be the 10am early check out and I found the booking service unfriendly but overall we had a great stay at Gilmours Entry.
