In Plazac, in the heart of the Perigord Noir, close to touristic and prehistoric sites, Pigeonnier from the XVI century with a kitchen in the tower, 1 double room with large bed (160x200), 1 twin bedded room (90x200), 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet, living-room with satellite TV and fireplace.
Outside, South West terrace for meals with barbecue, private swimming-pool with electronic alarm, pool-house, garden and "borie" ( hut for children). Internet access by WIFI.

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Dordogne region
Spring is very nice in Perigord with usually long sunny days. Summer is usually with good weather but not too much hot. Autumn is beautiful with its colours. Winter is nice near the fireplace, not very cold.
Many places with history interest: Lascaux Caves, Grotte aux 100 Mammouths in Rouffignac with a train for the visit, Medieval villages all around and gardens. Of course, famous Perigord cooking need to be tasted.
Many different activities for all the family: ideal for sport, cultural sites, gastronomy, and the green countryside with its villages and castles...
Plazac area
In Summer many festivals near Plazac: Festival du Perigord Noir for classic music in beautiful churches all around, temporary exhibition in the Museum of the Prehistory in Les Eyzies, Festival du Folklore in Montignac, many local celebration, open day in Buddhist centre, morning or evenings farmers markets...
