The La Gomera region
La Gomera is a lovely peaceful Island and it is where Christopher Columbus set sail on his voyage that discovered America. The locals have a whistling language. Playa Santiago is by far the sunniest town of the island where the local fisherman bring their catch of fresh fish to the local fish restaurants. The atmosphere is friendly, the food is great and you will have the time of your life. La Gomera offers many different walks and boat rides if you so wish.
Playa Santiago area
Playa Santiago is a small friendly town where all the locals meet to play bowls and cards in the Plaza Del Carmen. It has supermarkets, banks, souvenir shops, a bakery and even a Chinese restaurant. Playa Santiago is the place that time forgot which just makes it so so special. We are sure you won't want to leave!
Near to one of the best golf courses in the Canary Islands, Tecina Golf. for which we can offer a 20% discount. Guests of our apartment will have a temporary membership to the Country Club. which boasts two swimming pools, sun loungers, a gym and a bar. Pueblo Don Thomas is a high class resort. and we would ask our guests to respect the rules and regulations of the country club.
How to get there
To get to the beautiful undiscovered life changing island of La Gomera, you need to fly to Tenerife South Airport, which has many cheap flights from nearly all of the UK airports.
Once at Tenerife you can take a taxi, (about 20 euros), get a bus, or hire a car from Cicar, (which is allowed to travel on the ferry), to take you to the port of Los Cristianos, where you can catch either the Fred Olsen Ferry or the Arnas Ferry to San Sebastian, La Gomera. This is the 35 minute ferry crossing to paradise, and we promise that this little effort will introduce you to a way of life not easily found in this hectic world anymore.
Once in La Gomera we can arrange for a taxi to pick you up and take you to your apartment in Pueblo Don Thomas, or you can hire a car very reasonably from Pinero Rent A Car in the port, for your onward journey and the rest of your holiday.
Plenty of taxis are always available with very friendly and helpful drivers at the port, but we recommend Juan, who has a fully adapted Mercedes Vito for the disabled, and we will gladly make sure that he is at the port to pick you up. You can also fly to Tenerife North, and then fly to the airport in Playa Santiago, La Gomera, which is only a 10 minute drive to Pueblo Don Thomas. A ferry direct to Playa Santiago from Los Christianos may soon be resumed, so please ring or email for any advice.

Further details indoors: The luxury apartment is furnished and equipped to an extremely high standard. The apartment has televisions to both the lounge and principle bedroom. It also has a DVD player as well as a radio/CD player with MP3 adapter.
Further details outdoors: You will be able to enjoy the stunning sea views or just take in the sun from the apartment's large balcony which has a large dining table and six chairs for your enjoyment.
Our guests will also be able to use the Country Club with its large heated pool and children's pool, both with a life guard to ensure you and your family's safety. There is also a fully equipped gym, barbecue and bar in the country club.

We offer a weekly bed linen change and a daily maid can be arranged at an extra cost if you wish. We also offer special packages for whatever special occasion you may have during your stay with us.
Our friendly approachable staff will be available to help you book excursions, fishing trips, diving, dolphin and whale sightseeing trips, cycling expeditions and Island tours etc if you so require.
We are also able to offer 20% discount on the superb Tecina Golf Course and restaurants in the nearby Hotel Jardin Tecina. which also boasts tennis and squash courts.
Conditions
We require a 20% booking deposit, and the balance to be paid 4 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. We would appreciate a change over day of Saturday or Sunday but can accommodate any day.
A discount for stays over 3 weeks or more is offered and discount is offered for repeat bookings. Our rates are the same for all weeks of the year with the exception of Easter which carries a 10% increase and Christmas and New Year which incures a 20% increase. Please feel free to enquire about the long term renting discount.
