Each guest is issued with temporary exclusive membership card offering access to the Country Club on site with two heated pools and a well equipped gym, also the Hotel Jardin Tecina facilities which includes a Spa, three pools, a library, tennis/squash courts, table tennis, live entertainment and excellent restaurants. The apartment offers a large lounge/dining area leading onto a 27 sqm sun terrace, three double bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en suite), separate laundry room, fully fitted kitchen; dishwasher, washing machine and microwave .

The apartment is an ideal base for a wide array of leisure activities. La Gomera is a walkers paradise with an abundance of ancient pathways, a golfers haven with an 18-hole, par 71 course complimented by an astounding array of flora.

The La Gomera region

La Gomera is truly a beautiful island, family friendly, peaceful and thanks to its temperate climate, the island is suitable for visitors for all seasons. The island is a treasury of natural features whereby at its centre is the 'Garajonay National Park' (UNESCO World Heritage site) which sits on the central highland plateau reaching a height of almost 1500m. Within the park the 'Canary Lauraisilvia' exists - genuine living fossils - the remains of a subtropical forest that at one time dominated what is now known as the Mediterranean sea before the ice age. The 'Laurasilvia' is one of the most unusual eco systems on earth and 'Garajonay' is deemed to be the most extensive representative of this eco system

Playa Santiago area

Playa Santiago, the sunniest part of the island with 3000 hours of annual sunshine - is laid back and charming. Overlooking the harbour are a number of excellent restaurants serving specialities including fresh local fish. The amenities of the village include; a bank, a pharmacy, mini supermarkets, bars, bistros a flower shop and a bakery.

Guests are issued with a temporary membership card which gives them exclusive access to the Peublo don Thomas Country Cub with 2 heated pools (one for children), a well equipped gym and the Hotel Jardin Tecina facilities set within an extensive sub-tropical gardens and an 18 hole golf course.

San Sabastion, the capital of the island was the last port of call for Christopher Columbus prior to his sail accross the Ocean to the discovery of America.

Fly to Tenerife South Airport - hire a car or take a taxi to Los Cristianos Ferry Port a 20 minute drive.

Fred Olsen & the Armas are the two car ferry companies in operation at this port that sail into San Sabastion, the capital of La Gomera.

Fred Olsen runs a passenger service the 'Benchi Express' that sails directly into Playa Santiago, la Gomera via San Sabastion (the main port). There are several crossings a day.

You can disembark at San Sabastion and hire a car or take a taxi (€25 for the 35 minute drive) to Playa da Santiago.

Several car hire companies operate from San Sabastion including, Cicar,Hertz & Europcar.

From Tenerife North there are flights irectly to the Island whereby the airport is 4 km away from the apartment. Cars can also be hired at the airport..
