This is a luxurious beach apartment + private roof terrace with stunning views of Mount Teide & along the coast. Step outside the door & you're on the beach promenade - totally traffic free!

FREE WiFi. English TV including BBC1, ITV1, C4 & movie & entertainment channels.

We are on the top floor (the third), so you don't get noisy people above you. There is a lift to all floors. The apartment is our holiday home so it includes all the mod cons you would expect. The lounge and master bedroom (en-suite) are really spacious and comfortable. Our guests always comment on how immaculately the place is kept & how they sleep exceptionally well in our comfy master bed, with no traffic noise whatsoever.

Relax or dine al-fresco on the private roof patio which gets the sun all day long. Sleeps 2 - 4 people.

The apartments are on the seafront promenade with the new, golden sandy beach right outside!

The AA Tenerife Guide describes Playa San Juan as a “hidden gem”. This tranquil resort with its pretty marina & long seafront promenade, still has a little fishing fleet. You can sit in a promenade café with a beer or coffee & watch the small boats returning with fresh fish (served up in the local restaurants). There are two fabulous beaches & a new coastal walkway offers magnificent views over the neighbouring islands. The surrounding landscape is verdant due to the acres of banana plantations and Mount Teide is clearly visible. The clarity of the water makes this area one of the best for swimming & snorkelling & there are 2 diving schools in the resort.

The beautiful beach and clear blue sea is your swimming pool with sea temperatures only varying between 19 c to 24 c throught the year. Portable chairs, and beach towels are provided for your comfort. Starting from the harbour are coastal walkways leading along the cliffs in both directions. The main town shopping facilities and restaurants are just 50 metres along the sea front.

The beach has just been extended and renovated with a huge expanse of golden sand, and new breakwater for safe bathing. The promenade now boasts a fine restaurant and a tapas snack bar ideal for a coffee or something stronger! Along the beach are shower and changing facilities ( but you won't need these as you are living just above) and a refreshment kiosk where you can also rent sunbeds and shades.

Playa San Juan really is a “hidden gem” with a clean, safe beach and long, sweeping promenade that is traffic free. It's a unique, unspoilt beach resort that has yet to be discovered by the masses. The fabulous year round summer climate, warm sea temperatures and lack of discos or roudy bars attract quality holidaymakers and celebrities. In fact, Playa San Juan boasts one of the highest sunshine records on the island.

Tenerife measures some 2,000 square kilometres, and is the largest of the Canary Islands, it also boasts the highest peak in Spain, Mount Teide is 3,718 metres of volcano, which is often dusted with snow during the Winter months.

There is a weekly market & a good selection of quality restaurants, cafes, several banks, shops and chemists. A bus comes along every half an hour so car hire is not essential. The Abama Golf course is literally a couple of miles away & there are a further 3 fabulous golf courses within a 10 min drive. We supply information on local walking & hiking routes.

"Peace, quiet and lovely location."

At first we thought that apartment was facing the beach but it was a side view. It did not detract from the holiday though. The rooms were large and beds extremely comfortable. No wardrobe in twin room but hangers and rails provided. All that was needed in kitchen and lounge and small balcony off lounge facing street which was quiet the whole time we were there. There are numerous small tapas bars and a great flamenco and singing in tasca bar on a Sunday.

"Lovely Spanish feel, not too full of tourists."

We are a family of four. Mum, dad and 2 boys, 14 and 12.

The apartment was lovely and very well kept. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Nice living area and also a seperate kitchen.

The beach is not too packed, this holiday destination would appeal to those who want a relaxing break, warm weather, sun and sea. Restaurants and cafes along the main street.

Not too pricey on the whole and there's a supermarket locally.

No nightclubs, nice people and generally a nice feel.

Our boys are happy with the simple things at the moment so we didn't feel the need to hire a car. I would expect to hire a car if we re-visited so that we could visit further afield. thisis a great base though for us personally.

"beach front in a beatiful unspoilt part of Tenerife"

spacious and well equiped appartment that was spotless! make sure to read the owners guideance notes provided as there are some excellent tips for hiking, things to do, good restaurants etc.
A peaceful fishing village with some good local restaurants. Hiking Hell's Gorge and the Masca trek is a must for keen walkers.

"SUPERB APARTMENT IN A BEAUTIFUL LOCATION"

The Apartment, airy and spacious, has its own roof terrace, ideal for us for the weather was glorious.The apartment is beautifully furnished with every amenity, only yards from the Beach.There were many mini supermarkets around with a big Alesi about 20 min. walk away on the other side of the village. Playa San Juan is unspoilt and has a magnificent Promenade. We used the local Bus Service thoughout with a bus stop about a 100 yards away. The Jeep Safari is a good day out providing the weather is fine.
All in all a great holiday with an Apartment to match.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Everyone loves it here, which is why we get so many repeat bookings. Sorry about the cleaning problem. We have now changed our agent & the cleaning is back to 100% immaculate which is the standard we expect.

"Home from home but better located"

Homely and good standard, (very important for extended stay) and in an excellent location. Second bedroom really only suitable for kids. One adult used it but not a great setup for an extended stay.

We are glad you enjoyed your 2 month winter break with us!! We agreed that the bunks in the second bedroom were not great so we have changed them to 2 single beds & added extra furniture - much more comfy for 2 adults. Thanks for the feedback.
