About the home

A fully furnished Bungalow situated at thirty seconds walk from Playa Hondas beach (Blue Flag) . A fully fitted kitchen with vitoceramic hob, coffee percolator, Dining table with four chairs, Setee with chair, coffee table,sidetables. The bedrooms are provided with bedside tables with reading lights, wicker baskets for soiled clothes, rotating ventilating fans if required. DVD player, Radio CD and tape player as well as Satellite TV to cater for all nationalities,

Facilities

Further details indoors:
The open plan kitchen/living room has everything at hand, all appliances are electric. There are washing lines at the rear patio where you can hang the washing. The washing machine is in the bathroom as well as the cleaning tools.

You will be able to have a BBQ "al fresco" in the patio which is partly shaded by a wooden porch , garden furniture is provided as well as two bicycles for you to use along the beach promenade, Two minutes ride will take you to the shop and baker where you can get your fresh bread or croisants every day

300€ for two persons or 350€ for more than two ( max. of four). We have no swimming pool , but then the sea is just round the corner! There are three marinas in the island from where you can charter our sailing cruiser if you wish to, and sail to other islands (with or without skipper)., please phone or email for further details

Conditions

We should like to receive 50% of the fee when booking is made, the rest you can pay when you get here. Once here we would ask you to deposit 100€ as security to help to pay for possible missing items or breakages, this deposit will be returned to you upon leaving. Sorry but pets are not allowed. If you are thinking of staying for over a month we can come to different terms.

The Lanzarote region

The Canary Islands are of volcanic origin, Lanzarote is perhaps where volcanic activity is more apparent, Timanfaya Park was formed in the 18th century from 30 eruptions that lasted seven consecutive years, You can visit the park in a special bus, there are many interesting places to see here, I would recomend you to go to the tourist office when you are at the airport and get leaflets about the places you fancy visiting.

The Playa Honda Beach area

Playa Honda was originally a fishing village, is now a quite residential town with a long promenade parallel to the beach with lots of bars and restaurants where you will be able hide from the sun and dine or quench your thirst whilst looking at activities on the shore. You can ride our bikes along the promenade as far north as Arrecife ( 7Km) or South to Puerto del Carmen (10Km).

Fly to ARRECIFE, cheap flights available from charter companies, then taxi to Playa Honda, about 5 euros for a fifteen minute drive. Or hire a car at airport, about 100euros per week or 30euros per day
