THE BUS STOP AND A TAXI RANK ARE JUST A FEW MINUTES AWAY AS IS THE PLAYA DEL CURA BEACH.

25% non-refundable deposit to secure booking. If departure date is less than 8 weeks full amount to be paid.
A security deposit of 150 GB pounds also to be paid with full amount 8 weeks before departure. The security deposit will be refunded after the end of the holiday dependant on no breakages/damage and the key being returned.

The Gran Canaria region

With all year round sunshine the "high-season" in Gran Canaria is winter when its many visitors home countries are much colder. Average temperatures range from 20-22C in January to 27-28C in August.

On the south west is Mogan, still retaining its pretty fishing village atmosphere with exceptional fish restaurants and golden sands. The ancient village of Arguineguin dating back to aboriginal period. Now with a huge variety of shops, restaurants, banks and a market.

The capital, Las Palmas, is within easy reach by motorway or express bus which can be caught approx 300mtrs from the apartment, and has a mixture of old history and modern times.

The Playa del Cura area

Very close to the apartment is the new 9 or 18 hole golf course called Anfi-Tauro with its spectacular lakes.
From part of the beach there is some good fishing from the rocks or surfing. A 15 minute walk away is the beautiful beach of Amadores and its many cafes. There are markets on most days of the week at a variety of venues such as Maspolomas, Arguineguin, Mogan and further in land at the village of Teror.

In land offers some interesting car rides with spectacular views as you progress up the mountains. Visiting Roco Nublas, where on a clear day Mount Teide of Tenerife can be seen. If you are a fishing fan a good day can be spent catching carp at one of the various lakes in the mountains. At Maspalomas there is also a good riding establishment if you are a horseman/woman.

It is about 35-40 minutes from the airport by car.
Taxis are plentiful outside of the airport or you can hire a car.

“Home from Home” An Absolutely fantastic apartment. Loved our 2 week stay in May, everything available that you could need – Satellite TV, Wi-Fi, DVD's, Video and music. Memory foam mattresses very much a bonus and welcomed as have these at home. Microwave was easy to use and we had a really good laugh with operating the hob as until 2 days before we left, we thought the rings only went up to 5 and took a while to cook things, when in fact they went up to 10. There are great facilities in the apartment and also within the complex. The pool area on the top is great for views, sunsets, and meeting others. The Spar at the bottom of the hill stocks most of what is needed and the restaurant on site provides delicious meals as well as snacks and carry outs until around 10.30pm, which was a godsend some nights, when you've been out all day. Great advice from Chris, the owner, in respect of Car Hire and relayed very good directions to the apartment from the Airport – it made things so much easier and stress free. Peurto Rico, and Peurto Mogan are 2 destinations which will provide interest/entertainment. The food at The Grand Blue, located at the waterfront at the pier end, in Peurto Mogan, is magnificent and keenly priced – we visited at least 5 times during our 2 week stay - their shrimps in the shrimp omelette appear to be what we would call king prawns - definitely not shrimps and the Big Burger was out of this world. We had no issues during our holiday; however, the lady we met to show us to the flat, Pam, is available if anything crops up. My husband and I had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this apartment as it is first class, has all mod cons desired and is very much a Home from Home.

“wonderful views” my husband and i stayed in this apt for four months . we had a lovely time the apt was very comfortable and had everything we needed. the beds were excellent with the memory foam mattresses, lovely nights sleep. we catered for ourselves most of the time and found the spar shop at the bottom of the hill very well priced and they also delivered to the apt which saved the climb up the hill .they didnt always have fresh meat though but you can just hop on bus to mogan and there is a spar there with fresh meat and fish. the views from the balcony were supurb overlooking beach and mountains. the beach in cura was ok till we had a storm and it is now covered in pebbles. but it is easy to walk to amadoros beach or catch the bus. the pool areas are good always beds and brollys, there is quite a community in the winter months with germans scandinavians and english all getting together on tues nights up at the bar with the singer liz who is good to listen to and dance.everyone joins in. the bar is very well priced and is run by brigittta who does a wonderful job on her own. we enjoyed it so much we are going again next year .

“Peaceful Luxuary Retreat” Very well kitted out appartment with all the mod.cons one could desire,my personal favourites were the flatscreen tv with SKY and the memory foam mattresses.The balcony is a lovely size for lounging and dining out.Landscaping of complex beautiful.Upper pool area lovely with views and breeze.Area was quiet which suited us.Public transport very convenient..Local beach poor but short hop by bus to Amedores beach.Steep incline to complex which would prove difficult for some so short taxi ride would be needed. Views from complex wonderful.Supermarket nearby,pub and restaurant also.

“Beautiful Apartment” We have stayed at this location before but in a different apartment. This apartment did not disappoint it is spacious and very comfortable. The balcony is wonderful for sunbathing, the only thing we missed was a tea pot for making the tea, however we managed with tea bags in the cups. Apart from that, the apartments has everything you need with a small mini oven in addition to a very nice hob if you want to cater for yourself. If you do not there, are many reasonable restaurants within easy walking distance. The Spar shop at the bottom of the hill is very good but it can be a bit of a pull with groceries on the way back. My wife and I take a rucksack each as hand luggage which doubles up as grocery bags much easier than plastic bags. The area is relatively quite which is why we chose it but there are regular bus services East or West and very reasonable. There are several swimming pools on the complex & non are really busy. There is a tennis court on the top of the complex as well as a small bar with very reasonable drinks. If you do not like hiring a car there is a shuttle bus that you can book from Las Palmas airport which will drop you right at the door and collect you for the return, this can take between 1 hour and 11/2 hours depending on the number of drops. I would highly recommend this apartment we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and want to go back for Christmas

“great view!” The apartment was as it appeared on the website, not large but plenty of room for the two of us.(Though the balcony was very big!) There was everything we needed with the added bonus of a washing machine and even beach towels - great if you only have limited baggage allowance. It was very hot when we visited so the ceiling fans were much appreciated. The view from the balcony was great, though this did mean a steep climb up the hill to the apartments then two lifts. (thank goodness for the lifts and what great views from them too!!). There were a few pools available but we preferred the top pool that also has a water slide. This has plenty of loungers and umbrellas, we never had a problem getting one no matter what time we went. There is a little shop at the apartments but wasn't open all the time so mostly used the spar at the bottom of the hill. This is quite large and actually cheaper than larger supermarkets we visited. As it was not high season quite a few of the restaurants bars etc in the resort were closed but those open were friendly clean and value for money. Would definately stay here again though probably not in the heat of July/August.
