Playacar Phase 1 is a secure, residential community located just south of the ferry dock to Cozumel and between the beach and 10th avenue in Playa del Carmen.

The Yucatan Peninsula / Mayan Riviera region
Playa del Carmen on the Rivera Maya has some of the most beautiful beaches where the sand is white and the water is blue. Playa, is located on the beautiful Mexican Caribbean coast some 40 miles (60 kms.) south of Cancun, and is the perfect base from which to explore the fascinating sites along the Cancun -Tulum Corridor of Quintana Roo and archaeological sites. Chichen Itza, Coba, Tulum . Also , beautiful little Mexican towns such as Vallodolid , Izamal , Progresso , and Merida all are within a day trip of Playa Del Carmen There is something to do for everybody here. Kids are never disappointed and never want to leave Xel Ha, Crococun or Xcaret, two Eco theme parks on the Riviera. Moms can lied on the sun, take a in house massage or shop-'til-they-drop in here. For dad there is the food, the golfing, the swimming and most importantly that candlelit dinner by the ocean. Jewellery stores are everywhere. It's a place for those in search of the active and relaxing family vacation.
Playa Del Carmen area
Playa del Carmen is located in the Mexican Caribbean coast, just 40 miles (60 kms.) south of Cancun, Mexico. The town of Playa del Carmen hugs the coast along blue Caribbean water and fine white sand.
The city of Playa del Carmen is divided into several sections. Avenida Quinta, "Fifth Avenue", is a pedestrian only street running parallel to the beach north from the central plaza. Fifth Avenue is the heart of Playa del Carmen's cultural life, and is lined with restaurants, shops and hotels. The northern end of Fifth Avenue is called the "New Fifth". This is an upscale area with new construction, brick lined streets and a more European flavour.
Playacar is large private gated community connected to the southern edge of Playa del Carmen. The resort has an 18 hole golf course, upscale shopping, aviary, beach and stone paved avenues with tropical landscaping. Playacar Phase I is the residential beachfront section and is adjacent to Playa del Carmen town. Playacar Phase II is of the beach and around the golf course.
Playa del Carmen is the perfect base from which to explore the fascinating sites along the Cancun -Tulum Corridor of Quintana Roo (now called Mayan Riviera). Chichen Itza, Coba (1 hour and a half away by road and in the jungle), Tulum (45 minutes away by road) . Also, beautiful little Mexican towns such as Valladolid (2 hrs away by road), Izamal , Progresso , Merida all are within a day trip of Playa Del Carmen . Beach combing, snorkelling, scuba diving, water skiing, jet skiing, golf, beaches, swimming, boating, kite boarding, deep sea fishing, tennis, groceries, reefs, sailing , shopping and dining.
How to get there
From Cozumel Airport to Playa Grab a taxi to the dock, el muelle (about 10 dollars). Ferries to Playa leave every hour on the hour, except at 11am and 1pm. The ferry ride is about 15 dollars and will take you about 30 minutes. By the dock in Playa, there are tricycle guys that can take your luggage to your hotel, or to the taxi stand by the bus station.
From Cancun Airport to Playa A private transportation, shuttle bus (colectivo), taxi or bus can be taken direct at the airport. There are four easy options how to get to Playa:
Private Airport transfer service to Playa del Carmen For larger groups, or those who simply don't want to be bothered with waiting around for a bus, taxi, or shuttle, we can help you to arrange this service . It cost around 200 dollars up to 7 people. The driver will wait for you outside the arrival terminal and an air-conditioned van will take you directly to your beach home, with no annoying stops at other people's hotels or homes to put more time between you and the beach.
Taxi Grab an authorized airport taxi. It's a 45 minute ride to Playa del Carmen. The ride to Playa del Carmen will cost you around 65 US dollars. You just have to say that you want to go to Playacar Phase 1 (see House Direction)
Colectivo A colectivo is (usually) a van that will take up to 10 people. They don't leave at any specific time, but you will have to wait until it's full enough to justify the trip. You may have to make stops at other resorts and hotels along the way, which can easily double the time it will take you to get to Playa del Carmen. The price usually works out to about 18 US dollars per person.
Direct bus to Playa del Carmen Mexican bus company ADO operates a direct bus service between Cancun airport and Playa del Carmen. Tickets are 80 pesos (about 8 US dollars) each way, either way. It leaves from outside the main NATIONAL arrival hall at the airport. Once in Playa del Carmen the bus works out of the main bus terminal on 5th Avenue and Juarez just 7 minutes walking from Playacar Phase 1.

Further details indoors: Villa Jacques is adequate for up to 8 persons and it features 3 bedrooms with complete bathrooms. All bedrooms have their own bathroom; no need to share a bath! The master bedroom features a king-sized bed and sliding glass doors which lead to the patio/pool. The second bedroom has 2 individual-sized beds, (easily pushed together for a king bed if desired) and another door that leads to the side of the house. The third bedroom, which faces a garden, also has a king-sized bed. The villa features dining rooms both outdoors and indoors. Besides, it has a cosy living area and a fully equipped kitchen. Enough space for a BBQ grill is considered in this indoor living area. Ceiling fans refresh this house that offers telephone, satellite television, and CD / DVD player for your entertainment.
The Mediterranean-style, blue-and-white tiled kitchen is open and airy; you can prepare dinner or those ubiquitous margaritas while still talking with others in the living and dining areas. The dining room has a large, round table with seating for 6 people. The living room boasts comfortable, custom-covered bamboo furniture, the television/entertainment unit, and sliding glass doors leading to the patio and pool. The lounge and patio furniture surrounding the pool create the perfect outdoor living space, where you can relax and revel in the views of palm trees, sea, sun, and sand.
Laundry facilities and safe box are available. Maid service is be provided six times a week together with bed linens and towels.

Reservation Detail Once you receive the rental agreement, have all the adults in the group read it to be sure the policies are not going to interfere with them having a good time, then fill it in, initial each page, sign it and send it back by email with the copy of the receipt of your deposit to our email. Once we receive the payment and signed rental agreement, we will advise you and confirm your reservation by email.
Payment Detail We require 50% of rental fee plus the security deposit once we send the contact and the other 50% will be due 60 days prior arrival.

In order to send you the rental contract I need your contact information (complete name, address and telephone), the exactly number of people in your party and your payment preference: wire transfer, bank deposit or credit card.
Be aware that wire transfer payments charges around $ 25 fee depending on the bank. Keep in mind that credit card payment charge 5 % fee per transaction fee.
