Tulum and Xel-Ha are located 45 minutes away by road, and in the midst of the jungle, more or less an hour and a half’s ride into the forest, lies coba, and the journey to reach it is well worth the effort. Playa del Carmen is blessed with miles of unspoiled white sandy beaches and crystal-clear Caribbean waters that's proving harder and harder to find. Playa Del Carmen area
Playa del Carmen is located in the Mexican Caribbean coast, just 40 miles (60 kms.) south of Cancun, Mexico. The town of Playa del Carmen hugs the coast along blue Caribbean water and fine white sand.
The city of Playa del Carmen is divided into several sections. Avenida Quinta, "Fifth Avenue", is a pedestrian only street running paralel to the beach north from the central plaza. Fifth Avenue is the heart of Playa del Carmen's cultural life, and is lined with restaurants, shops and hotels. The norther end of Fifth Avenue is called the "New Fifth". This is an upscale area with new construction, brick lined streets and a more European flavor.
The Playacar Resort is south of Playa del Carmen's main square. This large private gated community is divited into two sectsions, Playacar Phase I, which is older closer to Playa del Carmen, and close to the beach. Playacar Phase II makes up most of Playacar and is where most homes for sale, vacation rentals homes, and larger hotels are located.
How to get there
Playa del Carmen is only 70 Km. South of Cancun International airport. Car hire available from www.budget.com Local buses run regularly between the airport and Playa del Carmen. Private transportation from and to Cancun airport can be arranged by us with an independent company.
* Driving Directions From Cancun to Playa del Carmen Exit the Cancun Airport and take Highway 307/Cancun Tulum Highway south towards Playa del Carmen/Tulum/Chetumal. Drive south approximately 50 km. Just before you arrive in central Playa del Carmen, turn left at the first traffic light and make a U-turn. Turn right at the Volkswagen dealership. Drive all the way toward the beach, and towards the Shangri-La Hotel. Natz Ti Ha Condominiums are on the left, white three story buildings with cobalt blue roof tile.
If you prefer not to rent a car while you are vacationing, taxis are always available and near by

Further details outdoors: Casa Anatolia has beautiful common grounds with waterfalls and beautiful lanscaped gardens, from the terrace of your rental apartment you can hear the sound of the falling water cascading into the gardens downstairs. The beach is only 60 metres from the condo, oudoor showers to wash off the sand.
