The Yucatan Peninsula / Mayan Riviera region

The climate in the Mayan Riviera is wonderful. Spring is hot and lots of sunshine; summer is breezier with some quick rains and a beautiful light; fall is cooler which makes it pefect to explore mayan ruins, and the winter is warm with nights a bit cooler.
-the region is full of historic places due to the Mayan heritage. Be it ruins, caves or mayan comunities, you can make fascinating expeditions with local guides fluent in english, french, german, italian and more.
-nature is exhuberant and there are may guided tours to the jungle, lakes, mangroves, specialy designed so you can have a wonderful time with your family.
-the seashore is magnificent and you can explore it freely, wethr you ent a car or take a guide.

Playa Del Carmen area

Playa del Carmen is the place to be in the Mayan Riviera. Once a dormant fishermant village it is today the most desired destination in the Yucatan peninsula. PLaya del Carmen is 45 minutes south from Cancu. It has beautiful beaches with powdered sand, turkoise sea and calm waters. Hotels are small, some more relaxed and some definitly upscale. Everything here is bursting with sun, joy and creativity. It is a great place for couples, friends and families.The Quinta avenida, the most famous street in the riviera maya, is a pedestrian avenue full of shops, restaurants, bars and lounges, cafés,f people from all over hte world walking through day and night. You can find all kinds of cuisine, from a great sandwich to delicious french, italian, morrocan or mayan fine dining. During the day you can relax on the beach or go snorkeling or scuba diving, swiming, sialing, sky diving or parachuting... there are also wonderful golf courts, tennis, horseback riding through the jungle, eco adventures, excursions to the mayan ruins and incredible water parks for all the family.
The night life in Playa is another adventure: you can dine, lounge and dance the night away, and watch the sun rise from your own private terrace.
If you like eco-frindly activities, there are many possibilities, from turtle watching to swiming with white sharks, as well as many possibilities to parrticipate in wonderful conservation projetcs.

How to get there

Fly to Cancun international airport. From this airport, take a taxi or private transportation. It's just a 45min. drive to Playa del carmen.
All major european and american companies fly to Cancun, and you may find some good bargains in low season.
There are many car rental companies in Playa del Carmen (Hertz, Avis, Executive). You can rent in the airport, and the hotel provides this service too. However, renting a car is not necesssary.
Local buses run regularly between the airport and the town. The fare is 8 USD.
There are always local taxis available, except for very late arrivals. In this case we recomend to reserve a private pick up servcie ahead (we can help you do that).
Private pick-up in air conditionned vans can be arranged with reservation, around $150.00 USD round trip.

This is a very spacious apartment with great ocean view. It is set on two levels joined by a tropical wood stair.
It has two private bedrooms, each one with its own bathroom.
The apartment has been designed for you to have private spaces as well as lounge areas where you can share a meal, drinks or just relax.
The kitchen is fully equipped, and eating area is for up to 6 persons.
All areas have air coditioning, and each bedroom has ts own TV.
The apartment is furnished with towels and linens, and our cleaning staff will replace them upon request; daily cleaning and organic bathroom amenities are included.
The roof top solarium with dip pool and ocean view is a wonderful place to relax after the beach, or share drinks at sunset.

The rooftop solarium is a great place for getting together and refreshing in the lounge pool or resting on the lounge chairs. The view of the ocean and the city is beautiful and fun.
