THE APARTMENT comprises of 3 good sized bedrooms (all of approx.equal size) and 2 bath / shower rooms, one of which is used as an en-suite & comprises of a bath with overhead shower, WC, a sink with vanity unit & it also has a washing machine plumbed in for your use, if required.
The 2nd bath / shower room, which is shared between the other 2 bedrooms, is very similar but also has a bidet in it.
All the 3 bedrooms are twin bedded rooms with fitted wardrobes and all have patio doors leading onto the large terraces, some of which are covered for shade.
The open plan living area consists of a lovely lounge / dining area with TV & DVD & gorgeous leather suite & a well equipped kitchen to the rear of the room with cooker, hob, microwave & 2 fridges with iceboxes.
The huge sun terraces have a selection of furniture on them incuding tables, plenty of chairs & 6 sun loungers.
The patio areas are where we ask any smokers to indulge as we do encourage a non-smoking policy inside the actual apartment.
With the convenience of a lift close by & the fact that the apartment is all on the same floor, makes it also ideal for the elderly or disabled. The complex & surrounding areas are very wheelchair friendly.

PARQUE SANTIAGO IV is situated on the sea front & positioned on a corner therefore enjoying panoramic views and this lovely apartment certainly must have one of the best, being situated right at the front.
The fine soft, white sandy beach, which is directly in front of Parque Santiago III next door, is approx. a 100 metre stroll away along the very pleasant pedestrian promenade which is just in front of the apartment.
The beach is kept to a very high standard & is cleaned & groomed daily. Sunbeds, sunshades & various watersports are all available for hire there & the sea is clean & safe with a gradual slope into it.
The coastal walkway can take you in both directions, either to Los Christianos (the neighbouring fishing harbour) a pleasant 15 mins.(or so) stroll away or to Playa de las Americas & beyond. In each direction there is plenty to see & enough "watering holes"- if required!! The path in the evening is very peaceful.
WITHIN THE COMPLEX there are 2 attractive swimming pools (1 heated), a pool bar & cafe, a number of restaurants, a kiddies play area & pool tables, table tennis, football tables, a well equipped gym on each of the complexes & a huge amount of shops in P.S. 3 as well as the superb children's mini water-park. There is also a crazy golf course behind the well stocked supermarket.
In the reception areas of both complexes there are full business centre services available - internet, email & fax facilities & free wifi if you have your own laptop.
Conditions
Changeover day is flexable but Friday - Friday is preferred.
Day of departure to vacate by 10a.m.
Day of arrival 16.00 hrs but bags can be dropped off earlier.
Linen & bathroom towels are provided but are to be kept in the apartment.
Beach towels are not provided.
We have a weekly linen change but if you require more it can be arranged privately with our management service with prior notice.

There is plenty to do in Tenerife in all seasons as all leisure activities can be enjoyed 365 days a year due to its sunny climate & very pleasant, warm temperatures.
Sporting facilities close by include fishing, scuba diving, whale & dolphin watching, sailing, surfing, waterskiing, wind surfing, swimming, paragiding, tennis, roller blading, jogging, walking & golfing.
The aquapark, adventure parks & zoo are within easy access.
There are plenty of golf courses to choose from, most of which are within a short taxi drive except for the 2 that are up in the north of the island which are approx.1 hrs drive away.
There's also another course on the island of Gomera where you can catch a frequent ferry from Los Christianos (approx.a half an hours crossing)
Los Christianos is a popular fishing port which has lots of shops, restaurants & local markets. Frequent ferries go over from there to the neighbouring island of "La Gomera".
Other day trips can be arranged from the port.
The Playa de Las Americas / Parque Santiago 4 area
Parque Santiago 3, 4 & 5 is a top quality area with so much to do you don't have to move so very far at all.
There are plenty of amenities here: numerous shops (many duty free), supermarkets (with its own bakery in the larger one), laundry & dry cleaners (if required), hairdressers, restaurants of all kinds (many with their own home-made ice-cream) & bars to name just a few!
The excellant new children's mini water park & play area can be used by guests on Parque Santiago 4, as can the table tennis, the new state of the art Gym with massage & various treatment facilities & the internet & computer facilities at both reception areas.
On the smaller Parque Santiago V by the large supermarket is a lovely mini golf course to enjoy.
If you fancy a bit of pampering the "Mare Nostrum Resort" next door but one, has a spa with treatment facilities you can book into & don't miss the musical water fountains opposite which are a joy to see especially from "Harry's Bar" above, where you can sip away at an exotic cocktail while watching them.
The restaurants in the Parque Santiago area are plentiful & very popular especially around the fountain area upstairs by "Harry's" bar.
At midnight the area becomes much quieter for the consideration of all guests but, if you wish to continue on, just a short stroll away, there are bars which stay open a while longer & if you are a real "party animal" then wander down to the heart of Playa de las Americas!

Fly to Tenerife Sur Reina Sofia airport - Parque Santiago IV is approx.15kms from the airport which is around a 20 mins. taxi drive.
Some of the available flights are Monarch (daily), Thomson Flights & First Choice amongst many more from the UK. Aer Lingus fly on a Tues. & Sat. from Dublin, Ireland.
There are plenty of taxis at the airport & usually charge approx.€20 for the journey to the complex.
Plenty of car hires are available, C.I.Cars (Canary Island Cars) & Niza car hire are just 2 of them. TIP- if you are going to hire a car get it from the airport as it saves you the taxi fare there & back from the apartment.
Car hire is not necessary if you are not going to travel around the island, as there are always local taxis available around the Parque Santiago III & IV complexes that are reasonably priced.
From the Northern airport, which is less used, the journey is approx.1 hr to Parque Santigo IV.

I have travelled to Tenerife on holiday for the last three years, staying in good quality hotels around and about the Playas de las Americas area, but none of these hotels come close to the all round excellence of this apartment. Firstly there is the location; the apartment has arguably THE best spot, right on the corner of the sea front with panoramic views out to sea. It is in on the first floor above a couple of restaurants/cafes meaning you dont have to go very far at all to get a good breakfast. The part of the seafront that the apartment overlooks is very peaceful and is usually frequented by dog walkers, cyclists and rollerbladers! The terrace is in an L shape flanking both sides of the apartment, and it is absolutely huge. Furniture such as sun loungers, wicker chairs and plastic garden table & chairs are all provided so there is plenty of places for everyone to sit whether your a sunbather or a card player. There are dozens of restaurants with 1/2 mile of the complex so you are never more than a minute away from somewhere to get a bite to eat or a drink. The location of the complex means that it is within a 15 minute stroll to Los Cristianos (a quieter part of the island) but also an equal distance from the more rowdy Veronicas bar area. The apartment itself is generously furnished, there is a dining table to seat six, a large L shaped couch, six single beds, there is even a cot and a baby high chair if you are planning to bring younger children. There are three fridges so your drink will always be cold and there are two bathrooms, both with a bath and shower. The master bedroom has a door out onto the terrace, whilst the other two double rooms lead out into a large conservatory that in turn has sliding doors out to the other side of the terrace. If you don't like sitting out in the sun there is a flat screen TV in the living room AND the master bedroom that has a handful of English channels including Sky Sports. There is also a safe in one of the bedrooms so you can keep your passport and valuables safe & secure. Although the apartment is privately owned, the staff at the reception area are very helpful. There is a free WIFI service so you can keep up to date with what is going on back home via the internet and there are even computers that cost around a Euro for 10 minutes internet usage if you don't take your own laptop. The reception area also has vending machines in case you get peckish during the night! Parque Santiago 4 has an adjoining supermarket selling a vast selection of food, beer and wines. If you want a selection of fresh meat and bakery items there is a supermarket across from Parque Santiago 3 (about 300m away) that has even more choice. The apartment is booked via Caroline Hellewell who was very helpful and responsive to queries before during and after booking. She was very flexible as to things such as check in/out times and party sizes. We received keys to the apartment a couple of weeks before we went so we weren't panicking at the last minute. All in all I would definitely recommend the apartment to pretty much anyone; families, groups of friends, couples, people of all ages. The sheer size of the apartment makes it excellent value for money if there are four to six of you in the party meaning you can have a 5* holiday at a fraction of the cost. If I could offer one piece of advice it would be... Book it, you will not regret it! |
