Home description

This studio has the advantage of having a separate sleeping area so you dont have to convert the sofa into a bed every night. The sleeping area is separated from the living room by sliding doors and curtains. The apartment is quite spacious for a studio and is comfortably furnished with a sofa and reclining chair.
The apartment is rented as self catering and will be cleaned prior to guests arrival, linen and towels are included in the price and will be changed once a week. It is possible to have more changes but there will be a charge for this.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife has been growing in popularity for a number of years now especially as a winter destination. The land of eternal spring certainly lives up to its name. A visit up Mount Teide is always worth a go especially for the more adventurous. For those of you who like a bit of night life then Las Americas is the place to be with numerous bars, pubs, restaurants & clubs there is something to suit all tastes and ages. Mare Verde is situated in the Torviscas/Fanabe area which is district of Playa De Las Americas.

Playa de Las Americas / Torviscas area

The beach is just five or six minutes away. The general area is quite up and coming with some posh new shopping complexes opened recently. Market days are Torviscas:- Thursday morning and is just ten minutes walk away, Los Cristianos:- Sunday and is a eight minute taxi ride or you could take a bus. The newly refurbe'd beach is worth a visit at night as it now has bars and restaurants on the beach.

How to get there

The resort is only 10 mi/15 km from Tenerife South Airport and is directly linked by motorway. Taxis to and from Mare Verde are quite abundant and usually cost about 28 euros each way. The complex is also well served by the local bus service from the airport having a bus stop directly outside. There is also a taxi rank directly outside. Also you could arrange to hire a car or airport transfers by ringing our agents on 0034 664 527 921 or info@movingtotenerife.com. Car hire is about 100 euros per week, you pick it up at the airport and they take you back to the airport when you have finished with the car. Airport transfers are currently 25 euros each way (cheaper than taxis and drive more carefully) and the driver helps you with your cases to the front door.

The apartment was refurbished in 2005 and decorated and furnished to a high standard. The extension has a double bed, wardrobe ,small table, lamp and ceiling light/fan, as well as being a bedroom it can double as a sun lounge during the day. The main room is well equipped with all mod-cons including T.V recieving 6 UK channels (Beebs 1 & 2, ITV Central & C4 and two sports channels) DVD player, well equipped kitchenette and built in wardrobe with combination safe. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, WC & hand basin with lighted mirror, there is also a power point nearby. Outside there is a balustraded patio area with a table & four chairs. The apartment also has an iron & ironing board.

Mare Verde is an Andalucian type complex with a real village feel about it. There are eight swimming pools most of them connected by bridges and waterfalls. There are three bars including a large family room, most serve food as well. The complex also has its own laundry and there is a supermarket directly underneath facing out onto the street.
There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby as well as 3 large shopping centres. The Siam Park, the biggest water park in Europe, is a short bus or taxi ride away.

Further details

Being a ground floor apartment means it has good wheelchair access but the general area is quite hilly and some of the ramps on Mare Verde are quite steep.

Conditions

Smoking allowed only on the balcony please.
No same sex couples /parties taken, no bookings taken from anyone under age 25.
Not suitable for infants.
A refundable deposit of £50 is required against loss of keys, breakages, damage etc.
All bookings require a ten percent deposit, the balance to be sent six weeks prior to departure.
If a booking is to be made within eight weeks of departure then the full amount is required to secure the booking.

The prices stated are for the apartment and not per person.

If more than two persons to occupy, then a further charge of £20 per person per week will be charged, this is to cover for extra towels, bed linen etc.

All bookings are subject to a £50 deposit. Deposit will be returned by cheque after we receive the keys and our agents dont inform us of any breakages or damage.

We do not increase our prices during kids school holidays.

Christmas & New Year Rent out at £255 Per week, based on two sharing, an extra £40 per person per week up to a maximum of four will be charged.

Our cleaning agency also does airport transfers.
