Home description
On entry to the grounds, there is a beautiful outside seating area, well shaded to escape the sun for a while, surrounded by lush green foliage and huge cacti. There is a sofa here, and a dining table to seat 6 to 8 people.
To the right is the entrance to the spacious solarium area, which contains a Roman style swimming pool, heated from mid September to the end of April.
The living room is beautifully furnished, and has a sumptuous L-shaped sofa with lots of cushions, as well as two oriental style sofas. The tall wooden display unit houses the TV, satellite box and stereo, and the room is adorned with attractive prints and mirrors, stylish lamps and other little touches that bring style and elegance to the room.
The large kitchen is beautifully finished with marble work surfaces and splash-backs, and an expanse of white kitchen units.
There is a poolside shower and there are several sun beds and chairs to relax on, as well as a barbecue area with terrace and glass dining table with four chairs.

The Tenerife region
Tenerife is the land of eternal sunshine, with annual average temperatures ranging from 72F in Winter to 85F in Summer, which also makes Tenerife ideal for those out of season breaks as well as the more traditional holiday periods. This is definitely the island that has something to offer for everyone, no matter what your interests might be!
Tenerife has a wide choice of holiday attractions, sports and night-life. It has varied and spectacular scenery, from lush banana plantations and pine forests to cinder deserts and cactus ravines - here you can travel from the subtropical temperatures to the snowline in less than 2 hours.
There are several animal and ecology parks, two water parks for the fun-lovers, go kart tracks, a quad biking park, scuba diving, para gliding and much more for those of you looking for some adventure.
On the other hand, you can just relax on the numerous beaches, pamper yourself with local spa facilities, or take in the beautiful scenery the island has to offer. There are boat trips to see the marine attractions, and Jeep or coach trips to discover the many places of interest on land.
Playa de Las Americas / Playa Fanabe area
Once described as the "little continent." Playa de Las Americas is ideally situated for all types of holidaymaker, and most of the activities you would look for on a holiday, except for skiing or anything snow related!
The beaches in Las Americas offer all sorts of activities for a fun packed holiday, but also offer the peaceful getaway spots where you can just lay back, relax and soak up the year round sun. Diving, snorkelling and whale and dolphin excursions are hugely popular here, and readily available from many outlets.
Puerto Colón calls itself a port but it is actually a large and very attractive marina. Purpose built and privately owned, Puerto Colón is simply stunning. With its selection of clean sandy beaches, a wealth of sporting activities with some of the islands best facilities and a wide choice of chilled out and relaxing bars and restaurants to choose from, Puerto Colón is a fabulous resort in the South of Tenerife.
The shopping is great, with masses of leather shops, electrical shops for all your mobile phone, audio equipment and camera needs, clothes and shoes wherever you turn and more souvenir shops than you could shake a very large stick at! There is also a twice-weekly market now held at Fañabe/El Duque every Thursday and Saturday. There are also amusement arcades, internet cafés, buggy and quad bike hire, cycles, go karts, tennis courts, golf courses, literally something different to do everyday and for every taste.
The latest attraction to be added to Las Americas, is Europe’s greatest water-park, Siam park, a thrilling oriental adventure filled with adrenaline pumping attractions, diverse animals, children’s play area, warm lazy river and golden beaches plus a surf school and wave pool like no other.
How to get there
Fly to Reina Sofia airport in South of Tenerife, then taxi to villa (approx 15 mins and between 20 and 25 euros).

Further details indoors: On entry to the villa, there is an attractive indoor plant area encased in glass and allowing the sun to filter in from the open top.
Cooking facilities include full oven, microwave, and 4-ring ceramic hob with stainless steel extractor hood. There is also a fridge freezer, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. The dining area has table and booth-style seating. Off the kitchen is a utility area containing the washing machine and dryer, and second sink unit, with a door leading out onto the side of the villa, with more seating and outdoor clothes dryers.
The master bedroom has double bed with wrought iron headboard, attractive bedside units with reading lamps, and a matching corner display unit. There is a large flat screen TV in this room, a full-length mirror, and the two double fitted wardrobes for this room are between here and the en-suite bathroom. Patio doors from the bedroom lead out onto the pool area. The en-suite bathroom is ornately tiled and has a double washbasin in marble, with large full mirror at the back and a chrome shaving mirror attached to the wall. There is a shower cubicle, WC and bidet, full-length mirror, and a skylight providing plenty of natural light into the room.
The second double room has a king size bed with bamboo style headboard and matching bedside units with lamps. There are two double fitted wardrobes and a ceiling fan above the bed. Patio doors lead out onto the outdoor dining and seating area.
The twin bedrooms both have two single beds, with triple fitted wardrobes and bedside units with lamps. Both attractively decorated and having patio doors leading out onto the pool area. One of the twin rooms has a ceiling fan above the bed.
The family bathroom is again exquisitely tiled and includes single washbasin, full bath with shower fitting, WC and bidet. Chrome fixtures and fittings with towel rails and rings and soap dispenser.
Further details outdoors: Access to the pool is by ladder, or by the roman steps into the area with Jacuzzi jets. Pool is 9m by 5m, and the depth is 1.20m – 1.80m.
