About the home

This stunning two bedroom apartment is on a prestige complex. The apartment is furnished to a very high standard and sleeps up to four very comfortable, the apartment has everything you need for a self catering holiday. There is a large plasma T.V. with English channels. The balcony has lovely sea views looking out to La Gomera, Ideal for those el fresco evenings. The complex is fantastic for families and couples, there are two restaurants one English and one Spanish, both offer excellent cuisine. There are two swimming pools, jacuzi/hot tub. All beaches, shops, golf courses the local market and restaurants are all within walking distance.

If you want to book this property I would ask for a non returnable deposit of £100 per week and the balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. In case of a last minute booking I would require the full amount.

The apartment and the complex is not suitable for single sex groups. 18 - 30 but is ideal for families.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife is a volcanic island, with the tallest mountain in Spain, Mount Teide, dominating the island. Tenerife's landscape is incredibly varied, from the lunar landscapes around Teide, the pine forests and the seaside. The climate is warm in the summer and mild in the winter, rarely being below 22° C. It has therefore been called the "island of eternal spring".

The principal tourist centre now is in the south where the climate is driest, although the north of the island is well worth a visit with its lush greenery.
Tenerife can be a relaxing beach holiday, an active walking, tennis, and golfing holiday, a fishing and windsurfing holiday, whatever you want to make of it.
Restaurants are varied from the fast food to genuine Spanish food and in particular fresh fish from the Atlantic. The local wines are very good and inexpensive.

The Playa de Las Americas / Torviscas area

There is a local market in Fanabe, (about one kilometre away) every Thursday and Saturday and also a larger one on Sundays in Los Christianos. This, plus the shopping centre is within walking distance .The area has a huge variety of restaurants and bars which have nightly entertainment. There is a new theme park near the complex called Siam Park which is a fantastic day out for all the family. Also there is a choice of four 18 hole golf courses within minutes of the complex.
You can of course visit one of the many nearby beaches or stay at on the complex and laze around the pools and have lunch or dinner in one of the poolside restaurants, one English and one Spanish.

There are many flights to Reina Sofia Airport from most UK airports, ranging from the cheaper charter flights to the more flexible scheduled flights such as Easy Jet, Monarch. and many more

Torviscas Alto is approximately fifteen minutes from the airport and a taxi will cost approx €25 to €35 depending upon time. Car hire can be arranged at the airport

“excellent property” stayed in this appt nov 2010 and march 2011 owner sue goes out of her way to be helpful.nice walk to the beaches but found we needed a taxi back ,taxi fare 5 euro or less,nice and clean with... more
