The Tenerife region
For those who enjoy walking, (and are fairly fit!) and those who enjoy touring by car or bicycle, Tenerife has a wonderfully diverse landscape to explore. You will soon forget those first impressions of barren countryside, for Tenerife offers dramatic mountains, plunging ravines, wild untouched coastlines, lush green laurel forests and the spectacular moon-like terrain of Mount Teide - all within easy reach. There are also whale/dolphin trips, site seeing, scuba diving, paragliding all available locally.
Playa de Las Americas / San Eugenio area
THE COMPLEX: Club Atlantis is in an excellent location on the desirable westerly side of Playa, just a stones throw from the marina. The complex has a friendly atmosphere and a relaxing ambience and is maintained to a high standard, with pool bar, two pools (one heated), hair salon and launderette. This is a quiet but very popular front line 4 star aparthotel with 24 hour security and reception. There is immediate access onto 'Geranium Walk', a lovely sea front promenade which runs from Los Christianos, through Playas' Las Americas and del Duque all the way through to La Caletta. The nearest beach is also only a few minutes walk away.
GENERAL INFORMATION: The immediate area is very well served by buses which will take you all over Tenerife. The cheapest way to travel is to buy a 'Bono' card which, whilst not compulsory, will give you a discount on all your trips. Mount Teide, Santa Cruz, Los Gigantes and Puerto de la Cruz are all within easy reach by bus. Alternatively, taxis are plentiful & relatively cheap, as is car hire. One week car hire for a small modern hatchback works out at around £11 per day and can be booked through Auto Reisen (English speaking) on 00 34 922 39 22 16. You can collect your car from the airport and, if all runs smoothly, arrive at the complex about an hour after landing.
GOLF - Club Atantis is ideally situated within a 15 - 20 minute taxi ride of five golf courses: Golf las Americas (18 Holes), Adeje Golf (27 holes), Los Palos (9 holes par 3), Golf del Sur (18 holes) and Amarilla Golf (18 holes). All but Los Palos will require a handicap certificate.
How to get there
Fly to Tenerife South (Monarch now fly daily) then jump in a taxi. Club Atlantis is approx 20 minutes from the airport. If you are driving to the complex from the airport then follow the TF1 Motorway towards Playa de las Americas and exit at junction 29. Turn immediately left which takes you back over the motorway and at the bottom of the slip road turn right. Carry on until you reach an island. Go straight on at the island then take the next left turn as you approach St. Eugene's bar. Club Atlantis is now approx 100 yards on your left.

Further details indoors: The spacious sitting area includes flat screen TV with satellite reception (BBC1 BBC2 ITV, Channel 4, Sky Sports 1 & other English channels usually available) , video and stereo, 3-seater settee and armchair. The fitted kitchen includes two ring hob, combi microwave, full fridge freezer, toaster, kettle etc. plus cutlery and crockery. There is a new luxury bathroom with large mirror & lights plus generous shower cubicle.
Further details outdoors: The balcony offers stunning sea, pool and garden views (1st photo below is taken from the balcony) - ideal for enjoying your morning breakfast or taking in the beautiful sunsets whilst enjoying a cool beer or glass of wine in the evening. There is a canopy which can be extended over the balcony should you prefer the shade.
Conditions
A deposit of £50 per week is payable to reserve your booking. The full balance plus a £50 refundable security deposit is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival date. The security deposit will be refunded within two weeks of your return, subject to a satisfactory inspection of the accommodation and the return of the keys.

Notes to the rental rates
A discount of £15 per week is available for bookings of three weeks or more (not Christmas/New Year).
Apartment prices quoted are for full weeks commencing each Friday. (Changeover day may be negotiable from May to September). Clean linen and towels changed weekly. Water and electricity are all fully inclusive. The apartment will be available from 4pm on check-in day although baggage may be deposited from 2pm. The apartment must be vacated by 10am on day of departure.
