About the home

Great family apartment refurbished to a high standard with numerous bars, restaurants, mercadonas and beaches close by (2 mins). Please note that the advert picture is not a view from the apt but of a nearby beach. The apt can be hired as either a one or two bedroom unit. The newly opened Siam waterpark is nearby as are numerous beach attractions eg Jet ski, bananna boat rides, parascending whale watching etc.

For the more adventurous there are bus stop and taxi ranks outside the complex so exploring the island couldnt be easier. Collection from the airport by private car is available, please ask when booking.

The apt has english tv so keeping up with the soaps or news back home is no problem. Also provided are dvd player, radio, toasted sandwich maker, washing machine so traveling light isnt a problem.

The apt has a sunny balcony which gives access to the sun from 10am until 5pm in winter and longer in summer. The complex has a series of seven pools so swimming and lounging by the pool is never a problem. One pool is dedicated to infants only. Several excellent golf courses nearby (nearest 2km). 24 hour supermarket nearby for last minute supplies. Several first class beaches nearby and picturesque walking routes. The apt is second floor so access is by a short flight of steps.

Apt available for rent as either one or two bedroom unit with variable costs.

Ideal location with everything to hand so no need for a car. Tenerife has been one of the most popular tourist destinations with many people for a long time. Known for it's sandy beaches, good all year round weather (the temperature doesn't usually drop below 15 in winter or go above 39 in summer it's no wonder Tenerife is so popular. A gentle sea breeze covers the island and makes it very pleasant to live in. With many sandy beach's and sea front restaurants there is no shortage of places to while away the day or sit relax and watch the sun set in the evening. As the sun sets you may glimpse the islands of La Gomera, La Palma and El Heirro in the distance. “Shabby!!!!! Don't Stay!!!!” Stayed at this apartment for Chrsitmas 2011. The apartment sleeps six but the sofa bed is ingrained with filth and is not fit for a dog to sleep on, luckily the beds were clean but had the worse mattress I have ever slept on. The shower does not have enough water for 4 people and we were told to stagger showers, not an option when you have been at the beach all day and want to go out TOGETHER, so we were told to stand under the shower to get wet, turn it off and lather up and then turn it back on to rinse off to conserve the water. I have never heard anything so ridiculous in my life and consequently 2 of us had cold showers every night, Perhaps not so bad in summer but not in December when it cools down in the afternoon and evening. The TV in the apartment never worked and on pointing this out to the owner, who lives on site, we were told that the batteries had been put in the remote the wrong way and that it was now working, it WASNT!!! The balcony looked over a main road and what can only be described as a rubbish dump! The complex was very run down and seemed to be an ex time share that had just been abandoned and taken over by people who lived on site permanently. Including a man who was apparently running a brothel from his apartment, police with guns, running through the complex was not unusual. There is also a lap dancing bar on the edge of the complex. Nice!!!! My advice holiday in Fanabe or Torviscas which are both equally fantastic resorts, but stay in another apartment. Go to the Kandi Bar for drinks and a laugh and Wigan Pier for a breakfast. Response: 1) Sofa bed was cleaned prior to this occupation but did not come up to expectations. 2)Mattreses are orthapedic so the guests may not be used to them.3) Shower - most apts use electrical immersion heaters so water quantity is limited. Unlike the Uk use of on demand heating would be dangerous due to water supply difficulties in Tenerife. 4) Tv this works perfectly but use is obviously too technical for this family. 5) The state of the complex and activities of individuals on it is beyond my control. Had this been reported, attempts to stop it could perhaps have been made. 6) Yes there is a lap dance bar next to the complex as there are in Leeds. Sex in licenced properties is legal in Spain as it helps to reduce on street prostitution. In 5 years this is the first complaint ever. If luxury accomodation was required then a hotel holiday was the way to go not try to do things on the cheap.
