Tenerife is probably one of the last European paradise isles. "Fascinating" is the word for this island. It offers lush forests, exotic fauna and flora, deserts, mountains, volcanos, incredibly beautiful coastlines and spectacular beach resorts with full facilities
The Playa de Las Americas area
Playa de Las Americas is the most famous tourist area, and so this is where you will find plenty of small beaches, protected by long breakwaters to stop the made up sand banks being washed away.
The great thing about this area is that all beaches are just a footstep away from each other.
This is the place to practise all kinds of water sports and enjoy lovely scenery, much more attractive than any description.
Torviscas area is considered the quality "West End" district of the town.

Just returned from los geranios studio apartment and could not fault it. Very well equipped and in an excellent location for all Las Americas has to offer. Plenty shops bars and restaurants close by.... more |

I was at Los Gerianos on August during 2 weeks, a friend of mine told me it was a great place and she was right ^^. We were 8 people in three different apartments. We are young people so we were looking for nights clubs, bar, beach restaurants... a place to have fun. If you looking for the same thing, you are in the right place ! The hotel is clean, with nice people who welcomed us, a good security and above all there's a respect between all the residents, so you can sleep, partying but just take your neighboors into account. You have a beautiful swimming pool with a lot of beach chair so you don't have to run to get one lol. In the apartment you have movies, radio, wifi... Really all you need, it's like at home ! Around you have a little mall with all what you need ( supermarket, perfumery, souvenir's shop...), the beach, restaurant, nights clubs, Las Veronicas not far away from here which is the perfect place to party with differents night clubs, bar... There's a lot of english people, we are actually french, there's no problem, really nice people. It's not expensive ! We were shocked !! and it's sunny and hot. We are really sad to come back to Paris :( ^^. Definitely one of my best holidays ;) |
