A lovely one bedroom apartment in the three star Santa Maria Aparthotel. The Santa Maria, recently refurbished to a very high standard, has 24 hour reception,security and poolside lifeguard.
The nearest beaches are Torviscas Playa an easy 4 min walk away and Fanabe with its delightful double promenade only 6 mins away.

Features include a poolside restaurant and bar (BBQs Thurs nights),a main swimming pool,a smaller heated pool and a toddlers pool.Guests can also use the hair salon,laundrette and the internet cafe.
An inside restaurant is available for bed and breakfast,half board and full board guests and open to self catering guests as "Pay as you go".There is a daytime and evening entertainment programme with children's events,cabaret shows,music and dancing.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife is the biggest of the Canary Islands ,which being off the coast of Africa enjoy a wonderful year round climate.
Pleya De Las Americas is on the southern tip of Tenerife and one of the few places where winter months are frequently warm and sunny.
Xmas Day and New Years Day on the beach can be expected.
The south of the island is much sunnier than the north and consequently Playa De Las Americas has developed has one of the top all year round resorts.

Please note that the Santa Maria is on a quite private road and you do not need a taxi to get to the above.
Golf is close-by at the picturesque Playa de las Americas course or alternatively Golf Costa Adeje is 5kms
Tennis is catered for with Santa Maria`s own tennis court.
The local Titsa buses are ideal for visiting the many surroundiing villages and towns.Locals and regular visitors use the "Bono cards" available from local shops.They give attractive discounts particularly attractive on longer trips and no need to carry cash for the buses.

How to get there

*Fly to Reina Sofia (Tenerife South) airport.
*The local Titsa bus runs from the airport to Las Americas,but most visitors use the numerous taxis who charge 20 to 23 euros and take about 20min`s to get to the Santa Maria aparthotel.
*Carhire is available from the airport if required.
*Scheduled flights operated by Monarch Airlines,First Choice and Jet 2.Com are typical.

A deposit of £50 is required on booking and the balance payable 10 weeks prior to departure, or immediately if booking is made within 10 weeks of departure date.

Review of Santa Maria: We had a lovely break at the Santa Maria. It was a little disappointing when it started to rain on the Friday evening and continued all through Saturday but from Sunday lunchtime the weather improved and we had some lovely lazy hours lying on the sunbeds. There were plenty of sunbeds but people still reserved them early in order to choose their desired area but this did not cause a problem. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed the break and we would not hesitate to go back to the Santa Maria.
Top Tip : The beaches are wonderful in this area and so are the restaurants.

Comments: Been in the Santa Maria twice now, and going back on the 1st October. It is a wonderful Hotel the staff are so friendly, no problem too big for them.
The meals were excellent; I would recommend the Hotel to anyone. I always go with my family, and stay in a 2 bedroom apartment, and it as ample space, and plenty of wardrobe space.
It's very clean, the pool is very clean, the best I’ve every seen in Tenerife. My uncle thought it was that good, he even bought a studio in the hotel.


My experience with this property took place in:
July, 2007
just returned from the santa maria and can honestly say it was fantastic,read a few reviews on here before we went and was a bit worried,but on arriving that all changed,
the hotel staff were very helpful and spoke really good english,our room was on the very top floor (7) and it was brilliant,it has everything you could want, including a hair dryer in the bathroom,the pool area is nice with 2 pools the smaller one being heated,plenty of sunbeds available.
the wigan arms is just round the corner and does a fantastic breakfast for 3 euros.
if you like chinese food or indian there is a chinese right on the corner which is really good and the indian right next to it is honestly one of the nicest currys i have ever eaten, harleys is just up the road to the left which you have to try,its like tgi's or frankie n bennies,food was very good.
the aquapark is good but a bit of a rip off once you have paid in you have to hire your sunbed at 4 euro's each and you have to hire your rubber ring for some of the rides 8 euros each.
loro park is a must with a fantastic sea lion,dolphin and orca whale shows,really good day out.
i would give the santa maria and its location 10 out 0f 10
