Home description

Parque Santiago 2 has been a firm favourited with holidaymakers for many years. The accommodation was completely refurbished in 2007 with new kitchen, bathroom and new tiles throughout. There are views to sea & mountains from the balcony. There is a good poolside bar offering food & take-away service.Sunbeds are provided by the pool for a small charge. Towels are provided for apartment use only please take own pool towels. The nearest beach is out the back door of the pool complex which is a volcanic beach. The nearest sandy beach is 5mins away with all the usual beach activities available. There is a local surf school nearby and also bikes for hire.

The Tenerife region

No matter what your age, Playa de las Americas has something for you. The all year round climate is excellent & ensures all year round popularity.Playa de las Americas has a number of beaches along its coastline where you can hire pedeloes etc and where you can book trips to see whales and dolphins.You can enjoy a pleasant stroll along the coast line to Los Cristianos where you can catch the Sunday market.There is a tourist imformation office directly across the road with all the imformation for trips and where you can pick up the free tenerife papers to see whats going on locally.


Playa de Las Americas / Parque Santiago 2 area

Ample restaurants and shops all within a easy flat walking distance. Walk to the Safari centre and you will find high quality shopping.

Again wonderful restaurants (too many too choose from)! From Italian - Chinese - Mexican. Montanas is a lovely restaurant on the front of the complex serves a great breakfast including drink for 2.75 euros!!!

The sea is just a stroll away. There are many beaches along this coastline.

New £35million Sian waterpark is due to open in summer 2008. This is the biggest of its type outside USA and is a short taxi ride from apartment

Also a great family day out is Loro Parque with its penquin populated iceberg and dolphinariums.

There are scheduled flights to Tenerife from all airports. Visit Monarch, Excel or Jet2.com for good deals on flights.
Car hire can easily be arranged from the U.K or fromTenerife Airport.
Alternatively, travel by taxi. A row of taxis are always on standby outside the terminal building. It will take you 15-20 minutes and costs around 20 euros.
Taxis are always on hand in the resort and are very reasonable.

Master bedroom has a double bed - bedside tables with lights on wall and fitted wardrobes. Twin bedroom has twin beds - dressing table with CD player and wardrobe. The bathroom has a full bath with shower over and toilet and sink with lovely mirror over. The kitchen area is fitted with microwave - kettle - toaster - hob - oven and all kitchen utensils and crockery. A dining table and four chairs are provided. The living area has two comfortable settees - patio doors leading to the balcony. There is an LCD TV, DVD & iPod docking station. A safety deposit box has been installed. We have ceiling fans fitted to the main lounge area and the master bedroom. The second bedroom as a standing fan.There is a selection of DVD's and CD's and also books for apartment use.

The balcony has views to the mountains and sea. There are two major entrances the complex one from the front of the complex with stairs access and one from the promendade with lift access. The apartment is close to restaurants so at times may result in some noise in the evening.

This is a no smoking apartment. Couples & families only. , no group bookings No pets allowed. Please note on day of arrival apartment is available from 4pm and on day of departure please vacate by 10am to allow cleaning for changeover.There are luggage storage facilities and showers by the pool bar.. The usual charge for this is 2 euro for all day and 1 euro for half a day per case{these prices maybe subject to change}There is also a charge for sunbeds.
Also this property is only suitable for children over the age of 5years.


Conditions

Change over day flexible. Deposit of £100 per week required on booking. An additional £75 bond which will be returned on safe receipt of the keys after your holiday and after inspection for breakages/damage etc. Balance 8 weeks before departure. Bookings less than 8 weeks before departure to be paid in full - discounts may be negotiable. Minimum rental 14 nights over Xmas & New Year. Prices are for 2 people sharing. There is a supplement of £25 per person for 3-4 people per week.We invite guests to fill in feed back forms which are provided in the apartment.

Easter 08. The apartment was good, well equipped and conveniently located with access to beach, restaurants and shops all with easy walking reach. The complex itself was also well maintained. The quality of food and service in the neaby restaurants we tried was very good, especially the Krishna Tandoori across the road - we went there twice......We would certainly consider returning for a future visit.
