The Tenerife region

The start of major tourism began here in the late 1960´s and now it’s brimming with hotels and apartments, bars and restaurants. This area has a reputation of all-year round fun in the sun.

Tenerife is the largest of the seven islands comprising the archipelago, with a surface of 2.057 km2 and a population of 750.000.It is also home to the highest Spanish peak: the extinct volcano Mount Teide, rising 3.718 meters above sea level, and visible from all of the other Canary Islands.

The presence of such a high mountain creates a “micro-climate” with dramatic differences between the much cooler, wetter and greener North and the forever dry and sunny South, Mecca to millions of sun seekers year round.

Tenerife, with its multi-faceted personality, has something to offer to everybody:
History and culture abound, folklore, excellent cuisine, great thematic parks, the most comprehensive array of sports from camel-riding to downhill biking, scuba diving, paragliding and, of course, year-round golf on championships courses, just to mention a few…..and last but certainly not least beautiful beaches, made of either golden sand imported from the Sahara desert or local black volcanic sand, and the famous night-life: bars, clubs, karaoke, discos, etc., (deleted text) with a number of extremely talented artists be it musicians, singers, stand-up comedians, dancers, to entertain you and liven up your warm nights on this island known as “The Island of Eternal Spring”.

The nearby fishing port of Los Cristianos has ferry access to the exotic island of La Gomera. For those of you who like a walk there is a promanade which runs from the quaint and historic fishing village of Los Cristianos to Port Colon Marina, Adeje and beyond. There are many restaurants on which cater for every taste, and budget, just a stroll away, along with many qualiy shops and boutiques which stock all the best brands and designers.

How to get there

Flights to Tenerife are available from most UK airports.
Some companies provide daily connections but the most common departure days are Tuesdays and Fridays.
The flight time from the UK is approximately four hours and the main southern resorts of Playa de Las Americas & Los Cristianos are just 15 to 20 minutes drive from Reina Sofia airport.

There is no time difference between Tenerife and the UK.

The apartment is fully equipped for a self catering holiday. Cot and highchair available upon request. Ground floor, ramp access from street. Totally refurbished to a high standard. Modern kitchen including dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, microwave, etc. Washing machine, satelite tv with 13 english speaking channels, DVD Player, etc

We have studio apartments which have two single beds and a bed settee, 1 bed duplex apartments
which have twin beds upstairs and bed settee in the lounge downstairs, duplex apartments which
have a converted extra bedroom ideal for children (note. access to the bathroom is through the main
bedroom) and 2 beds which are on one level. All apartments are privately owned and are fully fitted for
self catering although facilities vary from apartment to apartment.

The apartment has a large terrace from the lounge and the bedroom, with table, chairs and sunloungers. There is a large swimming pool area with a salt water pool and a separate children's swimming pool. There is also a pool bar/restaurant and 24 hour security
