Thank you for your review Denise. Bless Peter next door, we had the joy of listening to his elvis tracks a couple of mornings last summer, as you say when I told him you could hear it he didn't realise that it was that loud. Hope to see you again in the future

"Good location, ground floor, sunny patio, 2 en suites"

We stayed here with another couple from the 18 - 25th February 2013 and had a great time. The apartment is in an excellent location, near the beach, lots of bars, restaurants and shops. There is a small supermarket about 1/2 minute away where we found everything we needed.
This is one of the older developments (1970's?) although the bathrooms have been updated and there is a modern large flat screen TV. The kitchen is looking a little tired but everything worked and the apartment was clean. A pleasant surprise was a change of towels half way through the week.
The apartment has the advantage of a spacious patio. There is a very pleasant pool bar on site which serves a wide range of meals and snacks up to 6pm.

Hi Steve
Thank you for your comments. Good to see that you enjoyed your stay, and yes the apartment is in a excellent location, with plenty of nice and not to expensive restruarants.
Regarding the kitchen, this is 4 years old bought locally from ikea, so anything needed to replenish wouldn't be a problem. I am going myself in July so I will take your comments on board.

"1 week wasn't long enough"

Just arrived back tonight after staying a week in this apartment.

The apartment was lovely and well decorated/furnished, a microwave would have been handy but not essential, otherwise very well equipped for self catering if you want to eat in...

There was lots of storage and also plenty coat hangers which are often lacking when on holiday.

We settled in well and it felt like home within hours, especially having the English Channels on the TV.

The terrace was great and we spent every morning there, eating breakfast and relaxing playing card games etc with our daughter (10), she loved watering the plants.

The location of this apartment is excellent, with everything you would need, on your doorstep. Would have given this 5 out of 5 if it wasn't for the noise at night from people outside the front of the apartment, walking to their apartments, I think this noise was amplified due to the structure and layout of the different floors. It wasn't a big issue, so please don't let this put you off going.

It was great having 2 toilets, the wet room, although stunning to look at, wasn't too practical as the water extended to the toilet part and took a while to dry and had to put a towel down, so we used the other toilet more.

We had our towels changed midweek and I swept the floors each day, so minimal housework compared to back home, option of the washing machine but didn't make use of it..

The beds are very comfortable and the bedding and towels smelled really fresh.

I never normally return to the same place twice but will make an exception and can't wait to re book this apartment later in the year, the weather was better than we expected it to be in February and would recommend going this time of year when it's lovely and warm but not too warm that you can't walk around the area which is lovely.

Thank you Carole for your nice comments, it is always satisfying when we know that clients have had a nice stay. There is a microwave in the store cupboard the cleaner must of forgot to put it out . Hope to see you again

"Recommended Rental"

Close to good restuarants, bars, shops and beach in Playa de las Americas and located on ground floor so ideal for families with small children or less mobile holidayers.

All the comforts of home and everything tidy and clean. There is a safe in the twin bedroom but the electronic keypad did not work, nor were there any instructions. However we noticed a key on the front door key ring and hey presto it fitted and allowed us to use it. So some instructions for future visitors would be a good idea.

Loads of free car parking available near apartment if a car is hired, although one is not needed if you intend on staying just in Playa.

Thank you for your comments Steve. I am happy that you had a nice time in our apartment.
Regarding the safe, the key code is run by batteries and more often than not these run out leaving holiday makers in a panic when they cant get into the safe, this is why we leave the master key to use instead

"Great apartment which could be rated 5 with very little effort!"

I would like to thank Sandra the cleaner who brought us a cot very late at night because she hadn't been told by the owner there was a baby coming or that there was 5 adults which required extra linen and towels. From what she said, the comunication between her and the owner is poor.We went out and bought light bulbs, not only was there no lights working on the patio but there was several bulbs out in the twin bedroom. The large walk in shower room needed a new bracket as the shower hose kept falling on you as you washed. The brown floor tiles needed a good scrub, felt slimey when wet, everytime you walked out into the bedroom the floor was filthy.
We had no site map so had to go looking for one late at night in the foyer to find room 199, i did ask for one but owner does not supply this, again something small which would have been really useful to us.
There was NO microwave like it states and we missed that for heating baby's bottles. All in all this apartment which is in a nice quiet location, handy for supermarket and good for disabled just needs very little to make it a 5 rating.

Hi Linda
Thank you for your review. The cot was ordered 2 weeks prior to your arrival from a local hire company and not through Sandra . When you rang me to let me know that it wasn't there I rang them straight away and they said they where on their way with it. Unfortuanetly this is out of my hands. Thank you for letting me know about the bulbs, these have to be brought from the uk, as all the furniture was shipped from barker and stonehouse, I will make sure that there are plenty of spares from now on.
Regarding the shower head, I understand that the community office had this replaced for you straight away.
Regarding the wet room floor, I will let Sandra the cleaner know as this should always of been scrubbed prior to arrival.
I agree that with these minor refinements this apartment would definitely score a 5 . Hope to see you again in the future
