Further details indoors: Large lounge with comfortable 3-seat and 2-seat sofas, glass coffee table and occasional table with lamp. The TV and DVD player are housed on a modern silver unit in the corner. There are 3 wall-mounted mirrors behind one sofa, and another unit with mirror above in the entrance to the lounge. There are various pieces or artwork around the lounge, as well as two wall lights and a ceiling fan.
Patio doors lead on to the balcony, which has patio table and 4 chairs, 2 sunloungers and a clothes dryer. This balcony boasts spectacular views over the stunning gardens, pool area, the ocean and the neighbouring island of La Gomera.
Separate dining nook with terracotta marble table and booth style seating furbished with deep terracotta cushions, contrasting beautifully with the surrounding white décor.
Stylish and well-equipped kitchen fitted with white units and comprising of large fridge-freezer, full oven and 4-ring ceramic hob, dishwasher and the usual toaster and kettle. Fully tiled and has marble effect work surfaces with white sink and drainer, and opposite is the breakfast bar with 2 tall stools.
The bedroom has a double bed with attractive headboard and mirror above. There are bedside units at either side of the bed, both with one drawer and a reading lamp. Attractive bedspread and cushions give this room a cosy and luxurious feel. The double wardrobe has hanging space, with shelving down one side. There is a window as well as a ceiling fan.
The bathroom is ornately tiled and comprises of shower cubicle, WC and large vanity unit with five cupboards for storing toiletries, washbasin and a mirror running the full length of the wall behind. Two towel rails. Halogen insets in the ceiling provide the main lighting, and the washing machine is housed here in the bathroom.

Further details outdoors: Patio doors lead on to the charming terrace with patio table and chairs. Terrace overlooks the fabulous gardens and pool area, with stupendous views of the Atlantic Ocean and the neighbouring island of La Gomera.

The accommodation was lovely overlooking the pool and beach, very clean and had everything you could want for your 2 week stay. The Altamira is an extremely well run, clean and quiet complex and nothing was too much trouble even though we had not booked with the aparthotel direct. Such a great place to stay to relax and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for that quiet corner of Las Americas. Would you visit the site again?
