About the home

This fabulous refurbished 1 bedroom apartment is situated on the lovely Santa Maria complex in Torviscas Bay. Privately owned it is maintained to the highest standard. It is AIR CONDITIONED and has all mod cons. It has wall mounted flat screen tv in the lounge and bedroom with english channels including sky sport. Use of the complex facilities is free including sun loungers by the pool. The 3 pool complex has poolside bar and restaurant, tennis court, internet facility, laundry room, hair salon, games room and a daily entertainment programme. Less than a 5 minute gentle stroll to the beach where all the usual watersports are available. A championship 18 hole golf course is about 10 minutes by taxi. English speaking reception is manned 24 hours every day of the year. 80% of our guests return which is testament to the quality of the accommodation.

Complex staff are largely English speaking and very helpful.

We do require a security deposit of £50.00 per booking. Taxi from the airport to the apartment costs about 25 euros. A £125.00 per week booking deposit secures your booking and the balance is payable 8 weeks prior to your holiday. Booking deposit is non-refundable.

The Tenerife region

The island of Tenerife is an all year round holiday destination, both the weather and the holiday atmosphere are constants. and the island does not have an off season like so many other destinations.The apartment is situated in Torviscas Bay on the southern (sunny ) side of the island. Torviscas is busy but not bustling. The very busy central area of Playa de las Americas is a half hour walk away.The beach at Torviscas is fantastic and safe. Fanabe beach ( 5 minute stroll) is larger. Both are white sand beaches backed by bars and restaurants. The stunning Puerto Colon marina is a gentle 8 minitue walk and mount Teide is a must see venue giving views of other canary islands from 1200 feet above sea level. The awesome Siam Park water theme park is a twenty minitue walk (or a free bus ride). There are 3 golf courses all within 15 minutes in a taxi.

The Playa de Las Americas / Torviscas area

Santa Maria is just 500 metres from the nearest beach where a full range of watersports and activities are available.The resort is centrally located making bars, shops and restaurants close by. From the balcony you have views of the sea, pool complex and the mountains. The hotel has a restaurant and bar and there is also a poolside bar and restaurant. Torviscas provides an abundance of entertainment for all ages. Families looking for great entertainment should get an early seat at Amandas or any one of the dozens of other venues and enjoy the live proffessional and free performances on show. Cocktail drinkers should visit Harleys bar. You will not go short of tasty food and all is served up by predominantly English speaking friendly staff.Other local activities include: cycling, diving, fishing,mountain biking, paragliding, sailing, surfing, swimming, tennis, water skiing, wind surfing, banana boats and jet skis. Also available are boat trips to see dolphins and whales, catermaran and other sight seeing vessels. The Santa Maria receptionists will gladly help you with any of these.

“Brilliant Holiday - shame about the rooms” I booked 2 2 bedroom apartments - lower floors preferred and next door to each other and got room no 1 and 774! The receptionist was very unhelpful and insisted we had got what we asked for. Not... more
