Studio purchased December 2011 and just had an extensive bathroom refit in January 2012. (See our other 1 bed apartment 7473). Situated a short taxi ride from the airport on the ever popular Garden City complex and, due to the location boasts a really good sea view. The studio is ideally suited for individuals both young & old. It is conveniently situated away from the main centre of Las Americas if you don't require the hustle & bustle of late bars etc. but there are many family bars providing nightly entertainment all within 2 minutes walk. Owners will provide a comprehensive list of suggested entertainment bars & restaurants on booking for your convenience. The poolside bar has been extensively refurbished and is now bright and vibrant and all sporting events are shown and Internet access is also available.

The apartment is fully furnished and the bathroom has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment. TV has some Sky TV channels and boasts a generous lounge/dining room area with outdoor table and chairs for 2 people. PLEASE DO NOT TRY AND RETUNE THE TV AS ALL THE CHANNELS AVAILABLE ARE ALREADY PROGRAMMED IN FOR YOUR USE. IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED IF GUESTS COULD ENSURE THAT THE THROW IS IN PLACE AT ALL TIMES ON THE SOFA TO AVOID ANY UNNECESSARY DAMAGE AND IF YOU COULD REFRAIN FROM SITTING ON IT WHILST WEARING SUN CREAM ETC TO AVOID ADDITIONAL CLEANING COSTS.
The balcony provides magnificent sea views and you can watch the sun go down whilst sipping your favourite tipple. The kitchen is fully equipped with all that you will need including a microwave,hob/oven, fridge, kettle, toaster and various kitchen utensils. There is also an iron, ironing board and hair dryer for your convenience.
Clients please note that to cater for families with young babies we do have access to a travel cot & high chair at a small extra cost for cleaning.
For additional security we have provided a safe, free of charge. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE KEY OUT OF THE APARTMENT AS IF LOST A LOCKSMITH WILL BE NEEDED TO OPEN IT.
The fully tiled bathroom has a shower, basin, wc will be fully refurbished in January 2012. Guests are respectfully asked not to take towels to the pool as they are for use inside the apartment only. WE WILL ACCEPT SMOKERS BUT PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SMOKING INSIDE OF THE PROPERTY BUT YOU ARE WELCOME TO DO SO ON THE BALCONY PROVIDING THE CIGARETTE ENDS ARE DISPOSED OF RESPONSIBLY.

2 swimming pools are available. The one by the pool bar is heated and is the most popular. If you require a more quiet environment then another pool is available only a minutes walk from the pool bar but it is not heated. Sunbeds and mattresses are provided free of charge.
There is a gym available and the pool bar enjoys the benefit of Sky TV and covers all of the football etc. There is also a pool table available. At peak times there are various organised children's activities and the complex has its own 24 hour security for peace of mind.
Guests are asked, for the benefit of all future tenants, to take a couple of minutes during their stay to water the balcony shrubs.
Normal time for vacating is 10.00am to allow for cleaning in respect of incoming guests unless prior arrangements have been made. PACKED cases can be left inside the studio near the door for collection by you if your flight is later in the day. Incoming guests will be made fully aware of this facility. Please ensure, however, that EVERYTHING is packed away so as to allow our agents to clean the apartment. We would ask that once the propert has been cleaned that you do not use the bathroom out of respect to the incoming guests.
Due to changes forced upon us by the Tenerife Tourist Board we have no alternative, unfortunately, but to increase our rates from April 2013 and these are reflected in the calendar. All existing bookings with be honoured at the prices agreed. This is something we have absolutely no control over and which we regret.
25% non refundable deposit required to secure your booking with full balance, along with inbound & outbound arrival dates & times, to be provided 8 weeks prior to departure. If booking made within 8 weeks of departure then full payment required along with the flight details in order to secure your booking. Keys, maps and restaurant/ bar details will be posted to you 7-10 days prior to your departure. A pre-paid envelope will be provided for you to return your keys. Guests are asked to return keys within 7 days of your return to the UK please.
Normal change over dates are Fridays but we will give consideration to other dates, please ask.

The Tenerife region
Although the island of Tenerife lies only a little way to the north of the Tropic of Cancer, the unique combination of both Gulf and Trade Winds that sweeps the island, somehow prevent it from mirroring its nearest neighbour the Sahara desert. Statistics show that Tenerife features the lowest temperature difference between summer and winter for anywhere in the world, and the average daily temperatures vary only slightly throughout the year making Tenerife an ideal all year round holiday destination.
Tenerife is divided by a mountain range which then effectively creates two very differing climates in a very short distance. The cooler northern part of the island is a lush tropical paradise with banana plantations and palm trees. Here it is quite possible that you will experience a significant number of cloudy days, and perhaps even a few rain day during your visit. In contrast the south of the island is hot and dry with almost a desert like landscape.
A point certainly worth making when contemplating a holiday to Tenerife is that the weather station is located in the north of the island, therefore the weather reports in many of the UK's national newspapers will be taken from the islands capital of Santa Cruz, and as such, may not represent the true temperatures and conditions in the south.
The Playa de Las Americas / San Eugenio area
Playa De Las Americas is a modern expanse of urban development that draws tourists throughout the year. This is the islands most populated area and offers limitless opportunities for soaking up the days sunshine.
Las Americas offers something for everyone and has many attractions to visit. There is the popular Veronicas nite spot a 15 minute walk away and many family bars and great restaurants only minutes from Garden City. The Aquapark is only a 5 minute walk away to the rear of your accommodation and is well worth a days visit. The popular Sky Park is only 10 minutes away also. The Siam Park, Europe's greatest water theme park is now open and is so close that you can see it from our front door. There is a picture of it on our site. If you wish to eat in your apartment then the San Eugenio supermarket is 5 minutes walk away with everything you will need and there are also cash machines & souvenier shops available. In the evenings you can enjoy some of the islands best cabaret tribute acts within a few minutes walk from the complex.
There are 2 beaches each only a short walk from your accommodation and if you want a flutter the casino is only 5 minutes walk away.
If you wish to see more of the island the main bus station is only 5 minutes away and there are several golf courses nearby.

Fly to Sur Reina Sofia, Tenerife, approx four and a half hours from Manchester. Monarch scheduled now fly daily from the UK (use flymonarch.com to check availablilty and to pre book your seats). If you need to "mix & match" your flights then firstchoiceflights.co.uk is a useful site to use. Getting to Garden City is easy. Come out of the airport complex turn right & join the taxi queue. Don’t worry if it is long as there will be lots of taxis available & you won’t have to wait too long. Just ask the driver for Garden City, Las Americas. The complex is a short 15 minute ride along the motorway and costs about 20/25 Euros. You will be dropped off at the Club Olympus reception, there will be a control barrier on your right. Walk up the slip road to the top and turn left up the short flight of stairs. There is an "opening" on the left go in here and take the lift to the second floor. Out of the lift turn left and 4016 is on the right. On your departure day simply walk down to the barrier and a taxi, if not already there, will be along at regular intervals as they are aware of the change over days, no need to pre-book.

Changeover days are FRIDAYS. However, for certain off peak times other changeover days will be considered. We will be as flexible as we possibly can in considering your requirements. The upshot is that moving forward we have no alternative but to have our property serviced by Club Olympus. Currently, Under their terms and conditions they clean 2x a week and whilst we have tried to have this amended to once as current, we have been unsuccessful in changing this. Whilst we will continue to negotiate on this aspect, for now, we have no alternative but to pass this extra cost onto our guests which we trust you will understand.
