About the home

Elsie's Apartment is a lovely first floor studio apartment in the charming Paraiso Royal complex in central Las Americas. Its central location places it 15mins walk from beaches and 5mins walk from shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and other amentities.

The apartment living space has recently been refurbished and a new enlarged kitchen has been fitted.

A good sized west facing terrace provides views over the complex and ocean, while the complex swimming pool and two-tier poolside sun terrace is available to guests between mid-morning and dusk where drinks and meals can be purchased at the well stocked poolside bar. A toddler pool is also available.

The complex's attractive white washed buildings, traditional roof tiles and terracotta-tiled walkways lined with well maintained trees and bushes give it a typically Spanish atmosphere, while security is ensured by access to the complex between dusk and dawn by key only, making it a private and secure place to enjoy your holiday.

If you are taking a short break or an annual holiday enjoy the reliable all year round sunshine and weather of the Canary Islands on the island of Tenerife.

Tenerife like all the Canary Islands enjoys year long sunshine and a moderate climate. It is dominated by Mt Tiede which at 16,000 ft is the highest mountain in Spain and is nearly always snow capped. The south side of the Island is largely dry and desert like while the north side is green and tropical in appearence.

The Playa de Las Americas / Central Playa de Las Americas area

Whatever you want to do on holiday the resort of Playa de las Americas offers most activities you would like to take part in. You can of course relax on the numerous sandy beaches for the true seaside atmosphere by day and then experience the area's lively nightlife.

For the more active there is a nearby golf (course 15 mins by taxi) or a Water Park and Air Park (about 20mins by taxi.) Children and the young at heart will loveGo-carting, Whale & Dolphin Watching trips, paragliding, scuba diving and other water sports.

Why not take part in an organised tours to Mt. Tiede National Park and other places of interest in Tenerife?

Or if you want to simply relax by a swimming pool or beach during the day then Playa de las Americas offers a multitude bars, restaurants and night clubs to round the day off with a meal and a few drinks in the evenings.

Fly to Tenerife South airport (TFS) from any UK regional airport and taxi (€23.00) to Paraiso Royal, central Las Americas or by TITSA buses from just outside the arrivals hall. These run hourly (€2.50 per person). The nearest stop is the Columbus Aparthotel Bldg. This is our preferred means of travel from and to the airport.

We can also arrange for your collection from TFS airport and transport to Paraiso Royal and return to TFS at the end of your vaction for a very attractive rate.

Hello Nus,

We're just back from staying a week in Elsie's apartment in Tenerife and I just had to email you and tell you what a brilliant time we had.

When we arrived, we were met at the airport and brought directly to the apartment, which was great. It saved us having to try and find it ourselves.

Entering the apartment was easy enough with the code. It is well secured and we felt absolutely safe enough. The safe was also great for storing our passports etc. The apartment was lovely. Cooker, oven (which was spotless), toaster, kettle and fridge were great.
The balcony was great too with the table and chairs. We sat out most mornings drinking coffee and watching the world go by.
The two single beds were very comfortable and we slept great the whole time we were there.
The only problem we had was there wasn't enough towels. 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels. We would have needed more to do us a week. But other than that everything was absolutely great. The fan on the ceiling in the main living area was great too. It kept us cool at night time. We stayed Friday 15th to Friday 22nd of October of this year.

We are planning another break in March and would love to go back to the apartment .

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in your apartment , and will deffinately be going back
