Accommodation
The townhouse consists of one double bedroom and bathroom including power shower on the first floor and an open fully equipped kitchen, living room with a sofa/double bed and a private terrace on the ground floor. The townhouse is situated in a quiet complex, surrounded by a garden. Up to 4 adults/children can sleep in each house and a bed for a baby can be provided if requested.

Location
Most desired location in a quiet street and close to all you need at the same time, in the very heart of Playa Las Americas – most popular resort in Tenerife. Our townhouses are located 3 minutes walking distance to Las Cuevitas sandy beach, restaurants and entertainment area of Las Veronicas and the famous Avenida de Las Americas with glamorous shops and trendy restaurants. A short walk to other amenities – water sports facilities, yacht hiring, close to Siam aqua Park and convenient to transport links including to the must-see Loro Park and other popular destinations in Tenerife. A 5 mins drive to beautiful historical Los Cristianos town and port if you wish to visit other islands by ferry.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife offers the widest range of tourist attractions of any of the Canaries, with its spectacular volcanic scenery and distinctive black sands. There are plenty of watersports on offer and a vibrant nightlife. Los Cristianos is an old fishing village, with ferry trips to the secluded islands of La Gomera and El Hierro which both boast dramatic scenery.

Nearby La Palma is the world’s steepest island, leading up to the massive crater which is part of its National Park. Back on Tenerife, Playa de las Américas is a cheerful and relaxed resort, with good windsurfing to be had at nearby El Médano. Puerto de la Cruz offers buildings by architect César Manrique, and for children Loro Parque is a wonderful place to see parrots and dolphins. The Parque Nacional del Tiede is unmissable for walkers, with its landscape of lava streams and volcanic rocks.

Playa de Las Americas is the ideal location for all types of holiday maker. You can laze on the long sandy beaches, shop until you drop or party all night long. There are exclusive new shopping centres, as in the San Eugenio District and around Puerto Colon. Watersports and beach club entertainment for children and adults are on offer at the sea. Major theme parks include the Sky Park and the large and impressive Siam Park. The nightlife is the liveliest on the island, with a casino and most clubs staying open until the small hours. One of the most popular night club destinations is Veronicas.

“Amazing place for a holiday” Very nice place. Enjoyed our time in Las Americas, partially due to El Cortijo. Would recommend the place to friends w/o hesitation. Definitely worth visiting.

“Functional & adequate” My husband & I stayed at the El Cortijo apartments for 2 weeks at the end of July 2011. On arrival at the apartments we were met by Karina, who had been really helpful throughout the reservation process and was there on time waiting for us. The exterior of the buildings do look really tired and in need of some TLC but our apartment was perfectly fine on the inside. It was really clean and tidy and had all the amenities we could need for our stay. All of the furnitue, bedding, towels etc, looked to be really new and I think the apartment had been redecorated recently. The only annoying thing was that although there was a great flat screen tv, there were only a handful of channels, most of them were news channels and any others were in Russian. We didn' want to stay in to watch tv but it would have been nice to have an option other than news. I would suggest the owner could supply a dvd player if not some more channels. We didn't spend any time at all at the pool so can't comment on it's cleanliness but it did always seem to be busy so it must have been ok. It is in a good location, approx 10 mins walk downhill to the beach, approx 15-20 mins walk to Veronicas and approx 35-40 mins walk to the Strip and Harrys bar etc. We spent about 3 hours a day walking and are delighted that there are no Time Share Touts anymore. We had been plagued on previous holidays to Las Americas and to be honest it had put us off revisiting in the past. Nowadays the only folk that are slightly annoying are the PRs trying to get you into their pub or restuarant, but they are perfectly happy with a polite "no thanks" and by the end of the fortnight we had a bit of banter going with lots of them. All in all we had a great relaxing holiday and it had been made so, in part, by the apartment.

“Very relaxing” The apartments are spotless, they have been renovated to a very high standard, beds are very comfortable and all the necessary pots pans etc are present. There is a microwave and hob if I were picky an oven would be ideal. The pool area has been renovated and is clean and tidy with plenty of sun beds available. The grounds to the complex are well tended to and in time I am sure the paving areas and lighting at night will be completed too. There are 2 supermarkets close by, the beach about 300m as are restaurants and bars. Its a very relaxing chill out environment we enjoyed it very much and would we go back..YES!

To confirm your booking we require full payment in advance and a 100 GBP security deposit, by transferring the full amount to the owner´s bank account in UK or Spain. Fees or bank charges associated with transfer of funds are the responsibility of the client (guest).

The security deposit collected in advance ensures that you leave the property in the same condition in which you arrived. Upon your departure, contingent upon the condition you leave the property, your security deposit will be returned to you in cash (Euros) or refunded to your account in the UK within 14 days, if paid in GBP.

Cancellation policy: You can cancel your booking at any time up to 21 days prior to your arrival and receive a full refund.

The payment, not including your security deposit which will be returned, is non-refundable if you cancel your booking inside 21 days prior to your arrival. In addition, following arrival, should you decide to vacate prior to the departure date booked for any reason, your payment is also non-refundable. Any and all funds returned to client (guest) will be made, minus any fees or bank charges required to transfer.

We offer transfer from Tenerife South airport: a fee of 25 Euros, one-way, for 2 persons. Please arrange before your arrival.
