About the home

The remodelling of the upstairs (bathroom, bedroom and terrace) having been completed earlier in the year, the downstairs refurbishment is now also complete, this includes a new kitchen and retiling of the whole lower floor. Phtos have been updated on this site. The kitchen remodelling was planned by us personally and the works have been carried out to a high standard, thanks Tom!


If you are familiar with Parque Santiago III, then you will not need reminding that Lanzarote block is the best location on the complex. Our one bedroom duplex is available for letting to selected couples who will appreciate the location and make the most of the two balconies with superb views. Facing NW, the sun is on the balconies in the afternoon until the evening.

Being a one bedroom duplex apartment, this allows the resident couple to have a little more versatility with the bedroom and bathroom on the first floor having it's own balcony. The ground floor houses the kitchen and dining room / sitting area, again with its own balcony.

See the pictures to give you an idea of the views available from either of the two balconies. Look to the left, from the top balcony and you can see the boats going up and down the coast (view over the top of Madeira block). Look to the right and you can see up the hills above Tenerife with Mount Teide dominating the vista. Down only 16 steps to pool level.

Before letting our one bedroom duplex apartment to you, we will ask for a few details to allow us to ensure that we are letting to the discerning, repsonsible types we depend upon. The apartment will be let to two people only.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife offers something for everyone. The island has a very good climate year round. For those who are happy to lounge in the apartment, on the balconies, or by the pools on the sunbeds, feel free! You would be hard pressed to find somewhere more suitable than Tenerife.

The Playa de Las Americas / Parque Santiago 3 area

Places to visit include: Mount Teide, Loro Parque (if you have not been - give it a try, it is unmissbale at least once). Siam Park etc. etc.

For the more adventurous, the island offers many places to visit. Maybe a trip up Mount Teide - initially by car or coach, then - for the brave, the last few hundred metres by cable car, stand in the snow with your shorts and flip flops on! Santa Cruz offers a vast variety of shopping experiences, that's if you can't find what you want in the many shops on site at Parque Santiago III.

Car hire is available quite reasonably priced or take advantage of the many pre planned coach trips. The Island of La Gomera is about 35 minutes away from Los Cristianos by fats ferry - well worth a visit.

When you get back from your day out the area in and around Parque Santiago III has many and varied restaurants of quality.

“glad i booked this one” i had a smashing stay at mr whistons apartment .peacefull.spacious.views great .any thing i needed i called the owner at the end of the phone. great shower and a freezer for your frozen foods .i was wellinformed .and had no worrys as debbie was a call away .so all i can say is i am going to contact mr whiston again for next september . june ramsay

“Excellent” Had a fantastic holiday in Tenerife and this fantastic apartment was part of it. It was very clean, spacious and airy. Owners are a joy to deal with and gave us loads of info in advance. I would definitely book again!!

“Ideal location” Very clean, convenient apartment in the excellent Parque Santiago III complex. The bathroom (with an lovely modern shower) and kitchen are fitted out to a high standard. Whilst there are numerous very good restaurants conveniently close to the appartment, we did stay in and cook on a couple of nights and there was sufficient kitchen equipment etc. to allow this. Beautiful view from the balconies over the smaller pool and towards Teide. We didn't get a lot of sun in the afternoon on the balconies (the sun is perhaps a bit low at this time of the year (February) might get more full sun later on in the year) but the pool and the beach are both very close for serious sunbathing. The pool area and gardens in Parque Santiago III were all maintained to the usual high standards. Whilst the pool area is quite busy during the day, the complex is always very quiet and peaceful during the evenings. We had a very relaxing, enjoyable holiday and I would have no hesitation in recommending this appartment. Pat North Wales

“Great Place to stay” Good, Clean appartment, and well presented. The location of the appartment is great, as the sun is on the balconys all day, plus its a couple of steps to the beech to the back of you and a couple of steps to the pool. I've stayed at Parque Santiago III for many years in different appartments, and this was by far nicest one we have stayed at. The owners were very helpful too, as I had to change my booking at last minute and they had no hesitation in changing it....Thanks!! I would definatley recommend this appartment... Thanks Again Paul Manchester
