With only a 5 minute walk to the beach, or to the new upmarket Safari centre, or to the free bus pick up point for the local attractions such as Siam Park, Eagle Park, the location cannot be bettered.

The Tenerife region

The start of major tourism began here in the late 1960´s and now it’s brimming with hotels and apartments, bars and restaurants. This area has a reputation of all-year round fun in the sun.

Tenerife is the largest of the seven islands comprising the archipelago, with a surface of 2.057 km2 and a population of 750.000.It is also home to the highest Spanish peak: the extinct volcano Mount Teide, rising 3.718 meters above sea level, and visible from all of the other Canary Islands.

The presence of such a high mountain creates a “micro-climate” with dramatic differences between the much cooler, wetter and greener North and the forever dry and sunny South, Mecca to millions of sun seekers year round.

Tenerife, with its multi-faceted personality, has something to offer to everybody:
History and culture abound, folklore, excellent cuisine, great thematic parks, the most comprehensive array of sports from camel-riding to downhill biking, scuba diving, paragliding and, of course, year-round golf on championships courses, just to mention a few…..and last but certainly not least beautiful beaches, made of either golden sand imported from the Sahara desert or local black volcanic sand, and the famous night-life: bars, clubs, karaoke, discos, etc., (deleted text) with a number of extremely talented artists be it musicians, singers, stand-up comedians, dancers, to entertain you and liven up your warm nights on this island known as “The Island of Eternal Spring”.

Playa de Las Americas / Parque Santiago 1 area

The apartment is only a 5 minute walk away from the new Safari centre, Las Americas' most elite centre with shops to cater for everybody, including Zara and Mango. Plenty of bars, including the famous Monkey Bar and lots of restaurants many overlooking the spectacular water and light show from the fountains below. The brand new water park, Siam Park, is a 10 minute taxi ride away, or you can take the free bus. The park boasts the highest water slide in Europe and has many other water rides and for those who just wish to relax the park has its own beach with white sand and a wave machine.

How to get there

Flights to Tenerife are available from most UK airports.
Some companies provide daily connections but the most common departure days are Tuesdays and Fridays.
The flight time from the UK is approximately four hours and the main southern resorts of Playa de Las Americas & Los Cristianos are just 15 to 20 minutes drive from Reina Sofia airport.

There is no time difference between Tenerife and the UK.

This duplex apartment has been totally refurbished to a high standard. The accommodation consists of an open plan kitchen with all mod cons which leads onto the lounge area. Comfortable seating for 5 people and a flat screen satellite tv with 13 English channels, dvd and stereo provide everything you need for a relaxing evening. The balcony from the lounge is south facing which means that it has sun all day and has a sea view. The sleeping area is located upstairs and comprises of the main bedroom, also complete with flat screen satelite tv, a second bedroom which is separated by a half wall and the bathroom which has a wall to wall shower.
