Villa Coloradas Playa is facing the golden sands of Papagayo, just by the promenade and Coloradas Beach. It is situated on the sea front between the Rubicon Marina & the famous Papagayo Beaches, both a 15-minute walk in either direction. The villa has two storeys, was completed in January 2009 and is on a new development called Coloradas Playa. The villa consists of 3 bedrooms (1 en suite), 2 bathrooms, a toilet, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a spacious sitting and living area leading to a private sun terrace with pool and 2 terraces on the upper floor with wonderful views .

The Lanzarote region
Playa Blanca is situated on the south part of the island of Lanzarote. This small fishing village on the coast has became over the last years a quality tourist area, famed for its environment and its very modern four and five-star hotels. The resort extends for ten kilometres along the coast, from the Natural Monument The Ajaches (where you can find the Papagayo Beaches), to Pechiguera light house, close to Montaña Roja volcan.
Apart from being a resort appreciated by both Spanish and international tourists, Playa Blanca is becoming a place where many Europeans (and, recently, more and more people from Spain and from the island itself) purchase a second house .
It is a very pleasant place for cycling, trekking, windsurfing, sailing, or renting aquatic motos . Enjoy a trip on a catamarán or on a schooner to Papagayo Beaches. Enjoy a day of deep sea fishing (blue marlin or tuna) or make an underwater excursion to Lobos island to see dolphins (these excursions are very well-priced). There is also a wide choice of companies renting cars, motos, quads and bicycles.
Timanfaya National Park is just 10 km. away and the wine area, La Geria, with a very peculiar landscape, just 15 km. The airport is 30 km from Playa Blanca. To cross to Fuerteventura, there are ferries every hour from Playa Blanca quay.
Playa Blanca / San Marcial Rubicon area
A stroll along the boardwalk brings you to the fantastic Marina Rubicon, with its brand new shopping centre, bowling alley and numerous waterside restaurants. Ibiza's world famous "cafe del Mar" has opened a beautiful new restaurant and bar here, it's really worth a visit. Temptation awaits you at patisserie "Moulin Rouge" on the waters edge.Various boat trips are available. One service drops you right onto the sand at the horseshoe-shaped Papagayo beach, "Playa de Papagayo". If you feel like sampling the high life, take a helicopter tour over the volcanoes, land at the marina's own helipad, then charter a yacht.
A short walk to the east brings you to the edge of the protected nature reserve with its 6 sandy beaches. It's a vast area between the coast and mountains and it is excellent for walking, hiking, mountain biking and quad biking. The largest beach, "Playa Mujeres", is a 15-20 minute walk from the house or 8-10 minutes if you park next to the Papagayo Arena Hotel. If you don't want to walk, there's vehicular access to most of the beaches.
Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo and Playa Flamingo..
In the surrounding areas there are activities such as tennis courts within walking distance. Also within walking distance are the coastal promenade leading to beaches, crazy golf, water sports, bowling alley, small amusement park, pitch and putt. There is also a short tennis (paddle) which is a mix between tennis and squash.
Many of the 4 and 5 star hotels allow non residents in the evening including the Dream Castillo & Spa just by the Villa.

Further details indoors: Villa Coloradas Playa is furnished to a high standard, bright and modern.The kitchen is fully fitted with dishwasher, microwave, oven/hob with a halogen extractor, , full size fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, some crokery, glasses, utensils and sharp knives as you would expect at home.
The solana/Utility room has a washing machine as well as cleaning equipment, mops, Brush , etc...
Bedroom 1 with 1.50 size double bed, fitted wardrobes, drawers, a one seat sofa, and a wonderful terrace with sunbeds and chairs to enjoy the view to the sea and beaches.
Bedroom 2, with 2 twin beds, built in wardrobes, drawers and a terrace with chairs to enjoy the views.
Bedroom 3, a 1.35 size double bed with fitted wardrobes, is the quietest and coolest one. There is an en-suite bathroom on the main bedrooms with two basins, a bidet and a bath. In the other bathroom there is a basin and a shower and a little toilet with a basin on the ground floor.
There is also a large open plan living/dining area, with a flat screen TV with Satellite/DVD, leads onto the terrace for spectacular sea views while seating al fresco for up to 6 people.
The large dining area has comfortable leather chairs and seating for 6-8 guests.
Further details outdoors: We have al fresco dining table and chairs which seats 6 people. 6 loungers and a parasol. The pool is separate with a fent for your children's security

A 20% deposit is required to secure your reservation. Full payment is required not less than 6 weeks prior to your stay. Payment in full required for bookings less than 6 weeks before holiday. A refundable key/breakage deposit of 300€ is required at the time of the booking, to be returned 72 hours after your departure from the villa provided there are no breakages.

The cleaning of the villa and fresh linen will be provided prior to the beginning of your holidays and are included in the price, however, if you book for two weeks, a mid term towel, linen change and quick villa clean is included.
