About the home

This villa boasts its own private heated pool. It is equipped to an extremely high standard and is to be found on a very quiet residential complex, offering peace and quiet and ideal for families and couples looking for a relaxing and tranquil location.

It is situated a 5 minute drive from the centre of Playa Blanca with its wonderful white sand beaches, and fantastic pedestrian promenade with bars and restaurants overlooking the sea, you can walk from the Marina to the lighthouse - possibly not in one day as it stretches for several kilometres, a bus stop can be found two minutes from the villa for those who prefer not to drive, there is also a taxi rank and small supermarket within 5 minutes walk from the villa.

The villa has a private driveway, once inside there is a pretty sitting/dining room with satellite TV, radio/CD, comfortable seating for 5 and with two sets of terrace doors leading outside to the electrically heated swimming pool measuring 7 metres x 5 metres, set in a Canarian style garden with BBQ surrounded by 7' high walls.

A separate fully equipped kitchen contains all you need for a complete self-catering holiday, with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, iron/ironing board, washing machine, plenty of saucepans/china.

A cot, stair gate, high chair and sterilising unit can be provided for a small extra charge

Upstairs is the master bedroom with king size bed, fitted wardrobes, security safe and two balconies one overlooking the pool to the rear and one to the front overlooking the landscaped garden, the second bedroom has two single beds, fitted wardrobes, and a balcony to the front.

The property has two full bathrooms, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. A welcome pack is provided for your arrival but extra shopping can be put into the villa and paid for on your arrival.

The private pool is to the rear of the villa and is surrounded by a 7' high wall, making it both private and secure, integral steps lead into the pool and are a lovely area for little ones to paddle or larger ones to sit and enjoy a cool beer or glass of wine!! Sunbeds and parasols are provided, there is a BBQ area and table and chairs for those glorious al fresco meals. The villa boasts three balconies, two facing the front of the villa and one to the rear. A private driveway ensures that you will have no problems parking your car.

We ask for a non-refundable deposit of £100 per week of your stay, with the balance due 8 weeks before your departure date - a reminder will be sent to you. Prices shown include everything except beach towels, CDs, DVDs, there is no charge for children under five. Due to the nature of this quiet complex it is more suitable for families and couples.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote has so much to offer, from golden beaches and transparent blue water to a dormant volcano using its own heat in the restaurant, vines producing interesting wines, a national park offering a history of our planet, a museum dedicated to Cesar Manrique who was instrumental in setting the laws for the development of Lanzarote ensuring no 'high rise' buildings, all housing to be white with either blue windows if they are bordering the sea or green if they are inland and a selection of some amazing sculptures positioned all round the island, the list is endless and added to this is a climate that offers 12 months of sunshine!

The Playa Blanca / Alegranza area

Playa Blanca is on the southernmost tip of the island and is one of Lanzarote's finest tourist areas, there are ample beaches of golden sand, restaurants and bars where much Spanish is spoken making the holidaymaker feel that are really in another country. The water around Playa Blanca is ideal for scuba diving, windsurfing, and sailing - a ferry operates from the harbour to Fuerteventura with several crossing daily.

Near Playa Blanca is Punta Pechigueras that has one of the island's only lighthouses and is a great location to watch the sun go down, also near Playa Blanca are the Papagayo beaches and sandy coves ideal for fishing, swimming, diving, sunbathing or just for doing nothing!

If you are looking for 'retail therapy' there are some great shops selling designer clothes, perfumes, beauty products, electrical goods etc., and a market is held at the Marina every Wednesday and Saturday morning. A full information pack is provided in the villa giving ideas of things to see and do and suggestions of restaurants that are worth a visit [and those that aren't].

“Villa Magia- Magical” I have stayed at this property several times and each time I have not been able to find fault with it. The Villa is spotlessly clean and is superbly equipped to provide you with that home from home experience. The Villa is far enough from town to provide peace and relaxation and close enough so that you don't feel isolated. There is a bus stop around the corner and a taxi rank a short walk from villa.. short cut details are provided by owner and for those of a more energetic nature Playa Blanca is within walking distance about 30 to 40 minuts The owner provides an information pack which lists all sorts of details that might interest you on your holiday from restaurant recommendations to medical facilities. The villa has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and comfortably accommodates 4 adults,. The villa is bright and airy and has the luxury of its own pool and barbeque and 6ft high walls for privacy, the location of the villa is peaceful as it is in a residential area. I cannot recommend this villa enough.

“A piece of Heaven” Playa Blanca and the Villa in particular were easy to find. The owners directions were very helpful and made life very easy. First impressions do matter, the villa was spotless and smelled lovely too. Very homely. Shaun the caretaker called by within 24 hours and again was very friendly and helpful. The location of the villa was great for us, so so peaceful and we felt very safe. It is about 30 min walk into Playa Blanca but taxi's are so cheap only 3 euro to the centre of town. So you can have the best of both worlds. We thought Playa Blanca was by far the nicest resort in Lanzarote. (kinda up market) We felt very safe, very relaxed and the kids really enjoyed it. I was worried that they may find it too quiet but not at all, the pool was great and the villa feels so private. You dont even need to pack books to read on holidays as there were plenty of books at the villa to read. The Market down at the Marina Rubicon was brilliant so leave plenty of room in your cases! The only thing I found awkward was when we were leaving (we had a very early flight) which meant we had to return the key to the key safe in the dark and found it extremely hard to match up the key code in the dark. But apart from that everything was fantastic. We definitely would return to the Villa and would recommend it to others. The Roche Family.

Well what can we say - the villa was superb, clean and very well equipped. We feel we are becoming experts at finding what we want from villas, with experience in Portugal, Lanzarote, Tenerife, Gran Canarias, mainland Spain, Florida, Virginia and this Summer we are venturing to Cyprus. I think I can safely say we have never found anywhere with everything we were looking for - but your villa came the closest. We would certainly recommend it to friends.
