About the home

In a fabulous setting with panoramic sea views, Villa Helena is an ideal base for your family holiday. Built over two floors the villa is spacious and welcoming and offers 5* facilities. There is a modern yet comfortable feel with air conditioning, cool tiled floors and stylish furniture. There are 4 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms plus cots and highchairs for babies.

Outside in your sheltered private garden there are terraces for relaxing, barbecueing and dining with steps descending to your private heated pool and hot tub so you can make the most of the year round sunshine. Set in the peaceful area of Vista Lobos in Playa Blanca, Villa Helena offers all you need for a relaxing family holiday including Sky TV, a DVD player, Wii with games,a pool table and football table. When you fancy a change stroll down to the beach where you will find a good selection of shops, bars and sea front restaurants. Car hire is not necessary as you can walk to the beach in just 10/20 minutes and there is a taxi rank nearby. Towels and Beach towels are provided. Free welcome pack to start your holiday.

The villa sleeps 8 adults and there is a sofa bed for 2 small children plus 2 cots for babies. 2 double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and 2 twin bedrooms which share a luxury bathroom with jacuzzi bath. There is also a separate cloakroom with wc.
There are two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs so this villa would be ideal for
1) Families with babies or teenagers
2) Families with grandparents
3) Up to 4 couples looking for a relaxing holiday.
Brand new fully equipped kitchen. Includes an oven, hob, extractor, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, sandwich toaster and coffee maker. Utility room with washer, dryer, ironing board and iron.
Plenty of space to dry sports clothing and store equipment.
Huge living room with comfy seats for everyone, 4 three seater sofas. There is space to read and relax and enjoy a quiet drink or watch Satellite TV, a DVD or enjoy a Wii game. Spacious dining room with sea view, large table with 8 chairs plus highchairs. Desk and internet connection available for your laptop.
Air conditioning system/central heating, security safe provided, smoke alarms and fire extinguisher installed.
Villa Helena is situated in a safe and relaxing environment. There are fantastic views over the sea and town of Playa Blanca and you are close to the beach and town centre.

Private gardens with stunning sea views over Fuerteventura and Los Lobos. South facing terraces on 3 levels:
1) Al fresco dining area with tables, chairs and parasols.
2) Barbecue with built in seating area.
3) Steps down to heated pool with sun loungers and hammock. Inflatable toys and Beach towels provided.
A travel cot/playpen is provided so that you can relax whilst baby sleeps/plays close by.

There is also a luxury hot tub and the pool lights stay on until midnight so you can enjoy an evening dip. Secure parking for 2 cars with telephone entry system.

Further details

Car not necessary because Villa Helena is only 1 km from the beach (10 to 20 minute stroll) and Vista Lobos is next to a taxi rank - 3 euros to town centre and 5 euros to Marina Rubicon.
We are sorry but this villa is unsuitable for wheelchairs because of internal staircase and steps between terraces outside.
Our villa manager is excellent and runs a team comprising cleaners, pool/jacuzzi cleaners, laundry assistants and maintenance staff. He will greet you on arrival to show you around the villa.

A deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance is payable 2 months before departure.

The Lanzarote region

Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort in Lanzarote and is the sunniest part of the island. With sunshine all year round it's the perfect place your family holiday. The seafront promenade has bars & restaurants catering for all tastes, there is a working harbour with a regular ferry to Fuertevantura and new marina with luxury yachts. The general feel of the resort is relaxed with a family feel.

There are three lovely golden beaches in Playa Blanca with sunbeds for hire. You can have fun with various water sports and rides, go fishing from the rocks, try snorkelling or scuba diving to be amazed by the underwater scene or take a boat trip for a different view of the island. The unspoilt beaches and coves of Papagayo are just a few kilometres away. Playa Blanca is suitable for families and couples and is ideal for getting away from it all.

The Playa Blanca / Vista Lobos area

Villa Helena is located at Vista Lobos a peaceful area of Playa Blanca. It's just a short stroll down to the beach and bustling sea front. The promenade runs from one end of Playa Blanca to the other, from the Papagayo Arena Hotel in the east to the lighthouse in the west. The local beach of Playa Flamingo is just a 10/15 min walk, there are sunbeds for hire and the beach shelves gently into the sea making the bay very safe for small children.

It is well worth hiring a car to explore the island. At the Timanfaya National Park you can see volcanic activity, the coves of the famous Papagayo beaches are just a 15 minute drive away and the scenery is stunning.
The ferry to Fuerteventura takes 40 minutes to cross from Playa Blanca.

Flights are available from most regional airports in the UK to Arrecife (ACE) Lanzarote all year round.
Prices from £100 return in autumn/winter via Thomson, Thomas Cook, Monarch, Jet2 and Ryan Air.
Using a flight search site such as skyscanner.net can help you find the best prices for your dates.

The journey from the airport to the villa takes 30 minutes and costs around 45 to 50 euros in a taxi.
Hire cars are available for collection at the airport from around 120E per week.
Large families or groups may prefer to prebook a minibus for transfers to and from the villa.
