About the home

This newly refurbished bungalow offers guests a wealth of facilities. A beautiful re-fitted kitchen comes complete with granite worktops, breakfast bar, built in modern appliances including dishwasher, fridge, oven, hob, microwave and washing machine. All to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The Spanish style walk in double shower room is fully tiled and furnished with quality accessories. There is a large double bedroom with built-in wardrobe with a lockable safe plus ample drawer space.

The lounge consists of settee and chair, the chair converting into a single bed. Additional beds and cots can be hired if required. The lounge then opens out onto a tiled, pleasant and secluded terrace area, which is furnished with patio table, chairs and sunbeds and ideal for topping up the tan and alfresco dining.

This quiet and spacious complex consists of 34 privately owned 1 and 2 bedroom bungalows. Located just 5 minutes walk from Playa Flamingo beach, it is within easy walking distance to the local supermarket, bars restaurants and shops. The village centre is just 10 minutes stroll away. The complex features mature gardens a large swimming pool and children's splash pool. Perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation.
For guests staying longer than one week, there will be a weekly clean including sheet and towel change.

The bungalow is bright, compact and clean. It is of a traditional Canarian style and has been recently modernised throughout with new bathroom and kitchen. The lounge is tastefully furnished with a comfortably homely feel. Satellite TV is installed with movies and BBC radio plus CDS and videos for your use. The 1 bedroom has a double bed and wardrobe space. The lounge has chair bed which can sleep 1 adult, though is ideal for children. Additional beds/cots/high chairs can be hired.

Situated on Jardin del Sol, a peaceful complex ideally located near all Playa Blanca amenities. The bungalow is of a pretty Canarian style with its own terrace and garden. It is only a stroll away from Playa Flamingo (Beach) and it's fabulous views of Fuerteventura. Parking is available only a few metres away for those with a car.

A full management service is provided. This includes a welcome pack on arrival, clean towels & bedding. There is also a reception area open 5 days a week with English speaking staff and a 24 hour emergency help.

25% of booking fee to be paid on confirmation of booking, this fee is non-refundable, with balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival and also is non-refundabale.
Bookings made with less than 6 weeks to arrival balance to be paid in full.

The Lanzarote region

As the northern most of the Canary Islands, Lanzarote lies approximately 70 miles from the west coast of Africa, and yet is only 4 hours flying time from the UK. It is ideal for either a short term break or a longer rest, and can offer year round sunshine, spectacular scenery and beautiful beaches.

With its bustling capital - Arrecife - to the extraordinary lava fields at Timanfaya National Park, Lanzarote also offers a unique history and fascinating culture.

The Playa Blanca / Playa Flamingo area

Playa Blanca is a peaceful resort situated on the southern tip of Lanzarote, approximately 35 minutes from Arrecife airport. It enjoys the best weather on the island and stunning views across to the neighbouring islands of Fuerteventura and Los Lobos separated from Lanzarote by the straits of Bocaina.

Playa Blanca was originally a small fishing village and from the attractive harbour you can see the local fishermen landing their catch. From here you can also take a 35 minute ferry crossing to Fuerteventura.

A pretty seafront walk will take you the length of Playa Blanca stretching from the Pechiguera Point in the west to Los Colorades beach in the east. In fact, Playa Blanca boasts 5 golden sandy beaches and all are well away from the road so are ideal for families and children. Nearby, are also the famous idyllic beaches of Papagayo. Building is prohibited here to keep it unspoilt, but the beaches can be reached by car (although a bit bumpy) and also by sea taxi from the harbour, or by local bus, this now operates every half hour from Papagayo to Faro at a cost of just over one euro.

The resort has plenty of good bars and restaurants our favourites being Romantica, The Jasmine, Tipico Canaria, The Galeria, The Irish Anvil and Fiddlers Bar. The bars are great for keeping up to date with live football and sports, with some having live music.

Flights readily available from main UK airports with a choice of carrier including Monarch, First Choice, Jet2 and now Ryannair and Easy Jet making it even easier and cheaper to get to the island.
Taxis are available at the airport to take you to Playa Blanca and are reasonably priced. Alternatively car hire is also available.

“Fabulous accomodation, clean, contemporary and extremely comfortable.” We spent 10 nights here and found this little bungalow really comfortably, immediately it felt "home from home". Infact it is the first holiday we have been on where we didn't feel like we were camping out in somebody's house. It is well maintained, clean, modern and well equipped with lots of extras that make a holiday comfortable. The decor is a credit to the owners, who are very happy to provide information/tips i.e. where to visit, car hire and restaurants, etc. The welcome pack was especially appreciated and the card wishing us a pleasant stay was a lovely gesture. The management agency greeted us on arrival and were also very friendly and helpful. All in all, do not hesitate in booking this accomodation, it has all you will need and more, in a perfect part of Lanzarote boasting beautiful scenery and beaches, with excellent bars and restaurants. We will definately be booking again.

“An excellent location and lovely property” We had a wonderful month in your villa and had settled in nicely after only a day or so. The villa is perfectly situated within easy walking distance of all amentities including supermarkets, bars and restaurants and only 5 minutes walk to the beach. We were very impressed with the size of the kitchen and bathroom. The ceiling fan in the bedroom was invaluable for keeping us cool during the night. The villa was very clean and comfortable. The only negatives are the sun loungers could do with replacing and there was no oven ware so we had to borrow from my parents villa when cooking meals in the oven. We won't hesitate to try to book this villa again in the future. Response: Hi Thanks for your lovely review and so pleased you had a good holiday. “a brilliant holiday defo go back” would just love to say this was the best holiday i have had, the bungalow was so clean n tidy very cosy, the place was very quite, the pool was on your doorstep was very cold though but sometimes was a great relief with the heat, we didnt use the pool on site very much, we spent every day on playa flamingo beach 5mins down the road absolutely beautiful beach so safe for young childern we had a 6yr old and a 2yr old with us and they loved it infact my little boy wanted to live there didnt want to come back home, loads of little restruants around the beach, gorgeous walks to the other end by the marina overall it was amazing would defo go back. the owners were fantastic helped out with everything you needed to know, me and my family would actually live there if we could.

“Excellent accommodation ideally located to all amenities and restaurants” This rental property was in an ideal location close to all amenities ie shopping, beach, restaurants etc. It was in a peacfeful location and had pleasant well kept gardens. The property itself was like home from home and was in excellent condition throughout with everything you could wish for. Plenty of kitchen utensils and cutlery if you wanted to eat in. A very welcoming place to stay. The only downside was we had to come home. We will certainly use it again in the future.

“Fantastic Holiday” This is our 5th stay at Jardin del Sol so that gives you some idea on how lovely the place is. As ever there was a smooth check in, property lovely and clean and perfectly placed with a short walk to beach, restaurants and bars. Getting around is easy with a lovely paved path all along the coast from the lighthouse one end to the marina at the other, in total about 4.5 miles long so good for those who want to stretch their legs every day. The beaches (you can walk to 2 easily) are lovely and clean with great sun beds and little bars for a cooling drink and lunches. Really quiet outside the property so great to have a space to snooze on a sun bed in peace and quiet and just a minute to the pool if you need to cool down, it's always lovely and quiet around the pool too. There is also a table and chairs outside for alfresco dining. Fantastic restaurants within walking distance (5 - 10 minutes) with great tapas, Italian, Chinese and even an Indian so all tastes are catered for. Great bus links and you can even hire bikes for the energetic. There is a lovely little SPAR shop 3 minutes from the property which has lovely fresh meat and cheese and great fresh bread for breakfast. I would really recommend Jardin Del Sol as a holiday destination if you want to go somewhere with great weather, good accommodation and relaxation.

My husband and I have recently returned from a wonderful time in Lanzarote and No 5 Jardin del Sol – what a wonderful place to stay, the accommodation is just perfect with a new bathroom and kitchen, a comfortable sitting room and great big bed in a lovely cool bedroom. We spent our days either relaxing on the sun loungers in the lovely quiet front garden or dipping in the pool 30 seconds away. There are a couple of beaches only a very short walk away together with a good little supermarket, shops and lots of lovely bars and restaurants which means you don’t even have to hire a car. Everywhere we went everyone was so friendly and the location of No 5 Jardin del Sol was just ideal for a break in Playa Blanca and we will definitely be returning.
