About the home

Fitted to a luxury standard this Villa is located in Ambar, Faro Park just 5 minutes drive from Playa Blanca town centre and 25 minutes drive from the airport. Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on the Island and is an ideal location from which to explore the Island. Within a 5 minute walk of the Villa there is a mini-market which stocks all the essentials for a self-catering holiday. A cafe, restaurants and bars are located here too. Why not cycle there on the bicycles provided. The seafront is only a 5 minute walk away. So too is the promenade that spans the coast line from the lighthouse past the town to the marina. This walk is 10 km and plays host to the Montana Roja and Playa Flamingo beaches and numerous restaurants and bars.

The Villa benefits from a private heated pool, walled maintained garden and private parking. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en suite), spacious hall, separate kitchen, lounge, al fresco dining area with BBQ and pergola. The terrace can be accessed from the master bedroom and the lounge. The out house stores the washing machine, ironing board and the bicycles.

The master bedroom - king size bed, fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers, bedside lockers and lamps, en suite bathroom and patio doors to the pool terrace.
Second bedroom - twin beds, fitted wardrobes, locker and window to pool area.
Bathrooms - en suite has a vanity unit, bath, overhead shower and WC. Second bathroom has a vanity unit, walk in shower and WC. Both bathrooms are tiled from floor to ceiling with marble flooring.
Kitchen - fully fitted separate kitchen with large selection of pots, pans, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery. Children's plastic bowls and beakers. Breakfast bar with 4 stools.
Lounge - Leather settees 3 and two seater, coffee table, selection of games and CDs and DVDs. The lounge is accessed from the archway in the hall and to the terrace through the large wooden French doors.
The Villa is fitted with a house alarm, has portable air conditioning unit, fans and heaters.

Further details outdoors:
Terrace - covered al fresco dining area with large wooden table and permanent cushioned seating area with BBQ. Also, 4 chairs and table under the pergola that can be moved nearer the pool if needs be and sun loungers. Dine here on the terrace with views of Montana Roja mountain, Fuerteventura and the ocean.

Private heated pool - 8m x 4m x 1.8 m deep, electrically heated set in terrace and large walled planted garden which is covered with volcanic pecon stone. The pool is accessed via Roman steps and has a solar pool cover to retain heat when not in use. Lifebuoy is provided and the pool is professionally cleaned twice weekly.

Utility room - is equipped with a washing machine, iron and ironing board and clothes horse. The adult bicycles and helmets and inflatable toys for the pool are stored here too.

The Villa is maintained locally and there is a weekly service with linen and towel change.
Our Villa manager (English speaking) will make a courtesy call to ensure you can use the applicances and alarm and are on call for emergencies. Telephone contact number will be provided.
Smokers are welcome but smoking is not permitted inside the Villa.
A welcome pack is provided on arrival.
We also provide an information pack and location maps to the Villa.
We are happy to recommend restaurants and places of interest for first time visitors.

Conditions

Prices quoted are for the Villa per week and based on 2 persons sharing. Please add GBP 50 per additional person per week. Children under 5 are free of charge therefore, this additional per person charge is not applicable. A deposit of 50% is payable on booking with the remaining 50% payable in full 8 weeks prior to occupation date. Should you book within 8 weeks of occupation date the full rental is due on booking.
Travel cot, high chair and bed guards are provided free of charge. So too are are the bicycles and beach towels.
No breakages deposit is required but we do expect guests to treat the Villa with respect and if items get broken that they are replaced with an item of similar quality or that funds are left at the Villa so that the management company can replace the item.
We are willing to hold the Villa for 48 hours while you check out the availability of flights and this service is provided free of charge. So please contact us to avail of this service.

The Lanzarote region

Playa Blanca, formerly a fishing village, is now one of the main tourist resorts on Lanzarote. Heading east form the Villa along the coast there are numerous rocky coves to sit and soak in the beautiful scenery. Montana Roja and Flamingo beaches are on this route so too are numerous cafes and bars.

The harbour is approx. 4 minutes drive and the town centre is approx. 5 minutes drive. There is a daily ferry service to Fuerteventura from the harbour. The town centre has a shopping precinct with numerous shops, and restaurants and bars along the sea front and a very safe beach. A further 1 minute east from the town is Playa Dorada beach which offers the usual beach activities including para-gliding, banana boar rides, pedal boats etc. Lanzarote is a duty free island so perfume, cosmetics, alcohol and cigarettes are cheap here.

The Playa Blanca / Ambar area

Activities include, cycling, swimming, walking including hill walking on Montana Roja mountain, scuba diving (diving school 10 minutes from the Villa at Natura Palace), horse riding, camel riding, para-gliding, pedal boats, shore and deep sea fishing and sub marine tours.

For the evenings there are numerous restaurants offering Canarian, Mexican, Chinese, Argentinian, Italian and Indian foods and live music is a feature in most bars. Karoke and theme nights are available too.

It is worth hiring a car to explore the Island. Visit Timanfaya National Park and a coach will take you across the volcanic landscape. The famous Papagayo beaches are just a 10 minute drive away and accessible via a dirt road. There is a small admission fee to the beaches. Visit Teguise the ancient capital where the Sunday market is very popular.

El Golfo offers black beaches and the deep green lagoon and breath taking scenery. Guinate Tropical Park features exotic birds, mammals and reptiles. Cost Teguise, meanwhile, has the golf course and water park. Lanzarote will be a holiday you will never forget and the island will draw you back year after year.

Direct flights to Lanzarote are available from all major UK airports. The Villa is located in Playa Blanca the most southerly resort on the Island and is 25 minutes drive from Arrecife airport. Car hire companies and taxis are available at the airport. Recommended car hire companies are Payless and Hertz.
