An ideal base for a relaxing family holiday, our villa is set in the stylish resort of Faro Park which is close to Playa Blanca with its beautiful beaches and wide variety of restaurants. Villa is furnished to a very high standard and has a TV, DVD (with selection of family films), Hi-Fi system and a fully equipped kitchen and laundry area. Private swimming pool is electrically heated and there is a BBQ and al-fresco dining area.

The Lanzarote region
Lanzarote, perhaps the most unusual of the Canary Islands, lies approximately 95 Km off the west coast of Africa and 1100 Km south west of the Spanish peninsula. This position ensures year round high temperatures, more days of sunshine and fewer days of rain than the other islands. Summer temperatures can be in the 90's although these are always tempered by cooling breezes - ideal for sunbathing and sport during the day and comfortable in the evenings for relaxing over a leisurely meal or drink at one of the many bars and restaurants.
Only about 45Km long and around 18Km at its widest point, the island is famous for its dramatic lunar landscape of almost 300 volcanoes. Views of volcanic mountains, picon covered fields and rocky coastlines are broken up by a large number of beautiful golden sandy beaches and an amazing amount of well attended greenery and agriculture.
Playa Blanca / Faro Park area
The villa is located just a few minutes walk from the sea and 5 minutes drive from the centre of Playa Blanca. Faro Park has a supermarket, cafes, bars and restaurants within a 3 minute walk.
Playa Blanca is situated on the south coast of the island and has the best of the weather and sunshine, particularly in the southwest corner where Faro Park is situated. It has been tastefully developed and has spectacular beaches, in particular the famous Papagayo and Playa Flamingo, which are within easy reach of the villa.
For those who enjoy walking, there is a coastal walk to Playa Blanca harbour which takes 45-50 minutes but there are bars/cafes if you want to stop and have a relaxing drink en route. Alternatively, a taxi from the villa into Playa Blanca is a five minute drive (€5 July 08).
It has a beautiful pedestrianised shopping area as well as many seaside bars, cafes and excellent restaurants. The harbour where you can catch the ferry to Fuerteventura is a few minutes drive away, as is the stunning new marina with it's cafes and restaurants. All in all, a magnificent place to have the holiday you've dreamt of!
How to get there
Fly to Arrecife - Faro Park is a 30minute drive from the airport. Check internet for flight prices - more routes being added Car hire available from many companies. Cabrera Medina is the leading one but best to shop around Taxis easily available at airport (approx € 35.00)
