About the home

If your requirements are a private Villa with all year round heated pool, in a quiet residential area within 5 - 7 minutes walk to the original village of Playa Blanca with a fantastic choice of ocean view restaurants, several supermarkets and designer shopping outlets, then look no further. 'Casa Luna' offers the perfect location for families and couples of all ages.

The spacious accommodation (on 1 level) comprises of: master bedroom (with en suite facilities) leading on to south facing patio area. 2 additional bedrooms with shared bathroom. A well equipped American style kitchen, large lounge/dining area also leading on to the huge south facing patio with covered area and BBQ to cater for your alfresco dining needs. Lockable gate down to lower terrace with child friendly pool(1.2m) and mature large garden. The pool has solar heating all year round and is electrically heated during winter months at no extra cost. Security grilles on all windows and patio doors for extra peace of mind. Main door providing wheel chair access.

The Lanzarote region

Papageo (hope I have spelled that right) consists of several National Park beaches. Too far to walk but only 15 mins in a car. I suppose you could get a taxi and agree a pick up time. Alternatively you can get a "water taxi" from the old habour 12mins walk. Times vary depending of time of year, also can get to new Marina.

The Playa Blanca / Los Calamares area

There are 3 beaches within walking distance. Town centre beach is the closest OK if Mum & Dad want a cup of coffee and keep an eye on the kids on the beach. Playa Dorada approx 15 mins walk (east along prom). Lovely sandy beach with break waters (ideal for small kids). Jet skiing & banana boat for teenagers and "older" kids alike. Beach and Promenade restaurants. Playa Flamingo approx 20 mins walk (west along prom) smaller than Dorada but even calmer, ideal for smaller kids. Several restaurants just off beach.

For "Marina" people they have done a good job, 20 mins walk along prom and passed Dorada beach. Quite a few restaurants, try Larnies on the boardwalk for a snack. The kids will love feeding bread to the big mullet that swim by literally under your feet. A number of designer outlets are also to be found here.

There are also a Markets, one actually in the Marina (Saturdays) and one just outside. For lovers of fish visit the Fish Market in the old port, they don't come fresher !!! Take them back to the Villa and cook them on the barbie. If you want to catch your own, try fishing off the breakwaters on Dorada & Flamingo beaches.

There is nightly entertainment at the time share just down the road. Check out what's on at the Bar. There is also Sky Sports. Several other bars with sports in the Village. Mini golf is only 3 mins down the road on the way to the village. Internet use also at Las Brisas. Please note whereas you are welcome at the bar the pool is for Guests only.
