About the home

Casa Pamela is in a quiet residential area just two minutes walk from the sea. Tennis, wellness spa and other facilities of a four star hotel are right across the street. A ten minute walk along a beautiful coastal walkway with spectacular views brings you to the new Marina Rubicon with its weekly arts and crafts market, art galleries, designer stores, elegant restaurants and many tapas bars. Casa Pamela is close to a taxi rank, supermarket, car hire office, local bus service and a typical Canarian cafe.

Top up your tan in complete privacy on the comfy sunloungers on the spacious terrace that gets the sun all day long. Slip into the private pool to cool off and enjoy snacks, meals and drinks alfresco. Inside, you can kick off your shoes and relax in comfort with everything you need supplied. The Lanzarote region

This beautiful island is full of places to visit, activities to enjoy and plenty of beautiful vistas to just "kick-back" and let the stress ease away! Exhilarating activities: paragliding, motorcycling, windsurfing, scuba diving, karting, horse riding, golf, tennis, off-road trekking, camel riding, submarine diving, sailing, jetskis.

Entertainment: bars, theme shows, concerts, live music, barbecues, fiestas. Chillout time: restaurants, walks, quiet parks, astounding volcanic landscape tours, swimming, spectacular floral and cactii gardens, fine dining, unspoilt scenery... and much more. We fell in love with Lanzarote five years ago on a brief weekend trip.

We came back again and again on several one and two-week holidays and eventually decided to buy a villa to make our home here. Now we have bought the villa and are looking forward to spending more time here. But, before we finally settle here permanently, Casa Pamela is yours to enjoy - and the beautiful island awaits. The Playa Blanca area

Casa Pamela is in a quiet residential area. A short walk around the corner of the street is a small typical Canarian bar/cafe, a well-stocked supermarket, car hire office, bus stop for local resort service (1.15 euro) and a taxi rank. The Papagayo Shopping Centre is a few minutes stroll. A taxi to the centre of Playa Blanca is around 4 euro (day) and 5 euro (evening). A two minute stroll along the wide palm-lined avenue takes you past a small Canarian park to the four-star deluxe Iberostar hotel, with bars, internet access, and tennis.

The Wellness Spa has 2 Saunas, 2 Steam baths and 2 jacuzzis where you can relax all day if you wish. The massage suite offers a selection of treatments. Just one minute from here is the "Paseo Maritimo". This delightful seafront promenade leads East: to the natural unspoilt bays of the Papagayo beaches and West: to the Marina Rubicon (10 mins) with its bars, elegant restaurants, art galleries, designer stores, sailing, scuba facilities, bank and a twice-weekly arts and crafts market.

Also at the Marina is the Rubimar Centre with entertainment, shops, a variety of restaurants, ten pin bowling, internet cafes, hairdressers, amusements and other activities. If you like shopping, boating, swimming, or just relaxing and watching life go by with a glass of vino and a plate of tapas, this is the place for you!

A 10 minute seafront walk brings you past 9-hole Pitch and Putt golf to the clean soft sand of Playa Dorada beach with safe swimming, watersports, sunbeds, parasailing, jetskis, pedalos and the Commercial Centre with cycle hire, scuba, snorkeling, plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. A 5 minute stroll and you are in Playa Blanca which has a chemist, a doctor, health centre, DVD hire, supermarkets, shops, restaurants, buses and taxis - and a port where you can take a ferry to the nearest island - Fuerteventura.

Fly direct to Arrecife airport in Lanzarote. Hire cars are available at the airport or book by internet before you arrive (Ask us for our top tips. We have used Autoreisen by internet and Pluscar when on the island. There is also a Felycar office very close to the villa). It's around 30 minutes drive from the airport to Casa Pamela. Taxi is 35-40 euro or our English driver can take you for 25 euro.
Many airlines fly to Lanzarote - you can try
If you fly to Fuerteventura there is a ferry to Playa Blanca that runs every 20 minutes throughout the day.
