The Lanzarote region
Situated off the Moroccan coast, Lanzarote enjoys year round sun. With summer temperatures of 27 °C - 35 °C, and winter daytime temperatures of 20 °C - 25 °C, it is perfect for summer and winter holidays. The glorious beaches more than live up to the weather. Add to this the volcanic landscape, Moroccan style architecture and good food, and you have a pretty perfect holiday destination.
Chief attraction is the volcanic "Timanfaya National Park".
Close by are the winelands of La Geria. A drive through the area is well worth it, with the unusual way the locals grow their grapes altering the landscape quite beautifully. The wine is worth exploring as well.
Further attractions on the Island include: Jameos Del Agua, Mirador Del Rio, El Golfo's Green Lagoon, Rancho Texas, Guinate's Tropical Park, Las Salinas, the golf courses at Costa Teguise and Tias
Playa Blanca is situated on the south coast of the island and has the best of the weather and sunshine, particularly at Playa Vista which is very sheltered from the prevailing wind.
Strict development laws have ensured that the town has been tastefully developed. The spectacular white sandy beaches, in particular the famous Papagayo and Playa Flamingo, are within easy reach of the villa. It has a chic pedestrianised shopping area as well as many seaside bars, cafes and excellent restaurants. The beautifully designed new Marina Rubicon offers fine dining and shopping, as well as cafes and a 10 pin bowling alley. Playa Blanca harbour is where the ferries to Fuerteventura depart.
How to get there
Many airlines now fly to Arrecife from all over England. With a flight of only four hours, it is not long to enjoy some glorious sun, esp. in winter. As car hire is not essential, but is recommended if you wish to explore the island and Playa Blanca further. We can help arrange that for you, meaning one less hassle for you.

Further details indoors: Playa Vista is a very well appointed villa offering very generous inside space. The lounge dining room is extremely spacious, easily accommodating the 2 three seater leather sofas as well as the 8 seater dining table. Additionally, there is a breakfast room on the kitchen, providing the ideal place to start the day.
Should you wish to relax inside, there is a 32" LCD TV with the full SKY package, including the sports and films. For additional film watching, a DVD player, and a range of DVDs are provided. The DVD player has a USB port should you wish to bring your own films.
The master bedroom is furnished with a wrought iron double bed and has spectacular views through the 2 patio doors. A further 2 twin rooms, and a second lounge that has been converted into a twin bed through the use of screens, means that all guests sleep in proper beds with their own wardrobes. The downstairs twin bedroom and converted lounge each have patio doors onto the downstairs patio. There are 2 full bathrooms (including showers over the baths).
Further details outdoors: The pool is larger than most holiday rentals on the island, being 8m x 4m. Additionally, it is electrically heated, making it perfect for swimming all year round.
Upstairs the wide balconies provide space for out door eating as well as sun bathing. The views from the balcony are spectacular, offering a 180degree vista of the sea and the island of Fuerteventura.
Downstairs there is a large, 100% private patio. It is perfect for sunbathing in, as well as outdoor eating, should you prefer it to the balcony.
Loungers, tables and chairs are provided.

Included in the rental is a generous welcome pack, with the standards like water, milk, tea & coffee, but also including the extras of bread, cheese, ham, butter, jam, crisps, biscuits & red & white wine.
Additional services offered (ask for prices) - - Car hire can be arranged and is recommended. - Beach towel hire - with airline weight restrictions getting tighter, why not hire beach towels and save on bringing your own. - Pamper yourself with a massage, facial, manicure or pedicure. We can put you in touch with a highly trained beautician (previously worked at Harrods and Selfridges) who will come to the villa to make your holiday that bit more special. - To maximise your rest and relaxation, let us do laundry and ironing for you. We can also provide a daily maid service to do as much or as little as you wish (make the beds, do the dishes, clean the bathroom, kitchen and floors). - Should you wish, we can purchase additional items to be waiting for you upon your arrival. - Cyclists are welcome. Should you wish to hire bikes, or go on an arranged excursion, we can arrange this with a local bike hire company for you. Please ask for further details.
