About the home

Casa Margarita is a wonderful 2 bedroom self catering holiday villa with its own private electronically heated pool, it is positioned on the fabulous new marina development in Playa Blanca which is fast becoming one of the most exclusive areas in Lanzarote, with its wonderful bars, restaurants and high quality shopping all of which is in easy walking distance of the villa. The villa itself looks out onto a beautiful tropical park area with Canarian palms and exotic plants, the pool is surrounded by a large patio and garden that is instantly noticeable as one of the prettiest in the road, planted with colourful tropical plants and palms. No expense has been spared in our attention to detail, from lighting and pictures to soft furnishings and linens, board games, books, dvds and playstation.

Playa Blanca is at the southern tip of Lanzarote and as such enjoys the best of the sunshine all year round, the villa is south facing and the pool and patio bask in the sun from early morning to late afternoon.

Patio doors lead in from the pool to the bright airy living room which has been tastefully furnished with cool leather and summery furnishings, a wall mounted flat screen satellite tv, DVD player with lots of DVDs for your use while staying at the villa, CD player and a generous amount of books for you to read help make your stay special.

We have tried to add some little extras to the villa that are not always standard in others, we have a dishwasher, playstation 2 for both the young and old!, Fans in both bedrooms, full length mirrors, high quality lighting, King size not double bed with sprung mattress a really good selection of DVDs and a travel cot which is free of charge.

The villa has a good sized bar-b-q, high quality wooden table and four chairs with padded seats and 4 ergonomic sunloungers featuring different positions for both back and legs, two wooden chairs on the balcony, private off road parking and an international supermarket and taxi rank 50m away.

Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those looking for sun,sea and sand as well as good cuisine. It has a variety of beaches,Papagayo - said to be some of the best beaches on the island are close to the villa.

The town has a relaxed atmosphere, with many restaurants along the front offering superb al fresco dining!

“A wonderful house in a peaceful location; we loved it!” This was our second winter visit to Casa Margarita and it didn't disappoint. A really comfortable property with everything we needed and more. The owners have added so many great touches; we especially loved having a large dvd and book collection at our disposal for lazy days at the pool and quiet nights in. Situated in a quiet residential street, but only 5-10 minutes walk to the Marina Rubicon, the location is ideal if you want to chill out during the day, but be close enough to some bars and restaurants for the evening. The owners and the property management team are very friendly, professional and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this property - except for the fact that we don't want the whole world to know about it, it's so wonderful!

“Perfect retreat - home from home” Casa Margarita is a lovely villa, beautifully decorated and in a fantastic location. Wonderful walk to the Marina and its delicious restaurants and stunning views and within walking distance to the beach. The villa has absolutely everything you need from a pool to a playstation! Perfect for everyone. It is in such a quiet area that you are never disturbed and can relax fully.

“Home from home” Casa Margarita is home from home but with better weather. The accommodation is light and spacious with classy decor. The villa has all the amenities you could need and is in an ideal location for whatever holiday you desire. You can spend your day chilling out around the warm pool in sunshine or shade, and there is a well-stocked supermarket just yards away if you run out of drinks! The barbecue in the garden means you don't have to go out but a pleasant stroll along the coastal path takes you to the Marina Rubicon, a very stylish place to eat, shop or watch the world go by. I found the lovely Alma de Canarias body lotion at the Sunday market in the marina! All in all it's a wonderful place to relax - I've stayed here several times and cannot recommend it highly enough.

“Home from Home” This was truly home from home all mod cons in a nice quiet area, supermarket just around the corner, bars and restaurants just a short walk away at the Rubicon marina, The property was clean and well looked after, the pool was cleaned regularly and nothing was too much trouble for the management team.Ideal holiday home for both family and for couples, just a wonderful holiday home.
