The Lanzarote region
Lanzarote is possibly the most unusual of the Canary Islands. It lies just 95 Km off the west coast of Africa and approximately 1100 Km south west of the Spanish peninsula. This is an ideal location as it pretty much ensures year round good weather.
It has more days of sunshine and fewer days of rain than any of the other islands. Summer temperatures can be in the 90's although these are always tempered by cooling breezes - ideal for sunbathing and sport during the day and comfortable in the evenings for relaxing over a leisurely meal or drink at one of the many bars and restaurants.
Only about 45Km long and around 18Km at its widest point, the island is famous for its dramatic lunar landscape of almost 300 volcanoes. Views of volcanic mountains, picon covered fields and rocky coastlines are broken up by a large number of beautiful golden sandy beaches and an amazing amount of well attended greenery and agriculture.
Playa Blanca / Los Altos de Montana Roja area
The villa is located a 5 minute drive from Playa Flamingo beach where there are seafront cafes, restaurants and supermarkets, and the same distance to the resort centre. Within a 18 minute walk you will find a supermarket and taxi rank. Playa Blanca is located on the south coast of the island and has the best weather and sunshine, particularly in the south west corner where Faro Park is.
It has been tastefully developed and has spectacular beaches, in particular the famous Papagayo and Playa Flamingo, which are within easy reach of the villa. It has a beautiful pedestrianised shopping area as well as many seaside bars, cafes and excellent restaurants.
The harbour where you can catch the ferry to Fuerteventura is a few minutes drive away, as is the stunning new marina with its cafes, shops, restaurants and 10 pin bowling. All in all a magnificent place to have the holiday you have always dreamt of!

Further details indoors: The large lounge/dining area has a big picture window allowing the most fantastic views across the resort to the sea and mountains and doors leading out to the pool and south facing terraces.
Follow through to a huge fully fitted designer kitchen with central island and breakfast bar. Also on this level is the master bedroom with plasma TV, and a twin bedroom, both sharing an en suite bathroom, as well as a shower room.
Patio doors lead outside from the master bedroom. Steps lead up to a roof terrace with magnificent 360 degree views.
Downstairs you´ll find 2 double bedrooms, a shower room with state of the art shower, and a games room with pool table and table tennis, as well as a galley kitchen - a great place to despatch the kids whilst you soak up the sun and those views!.
