Ocaso's own, sun trapped, private, spacious south facing terraces & heated pool (with 8 luxury loungers), offer panoramic views of the sea, the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura, and the nearby - but extinct - red volcano mountain. Ocaso's beautifully furnished and well equipped large lounge leads on to an all weather, alfresco dining area.
The designer kitchen & breakfast area is furnished with granite work surfaces and is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge, drinks fridge, oven, hob, microwave, freezer and a washing machine.
Villa Ocaso also offers, sky & astra satellite TV, DVD, video & radio/CD players, (music,film & book library included), and for your peace of mind - a secure locking safe.
Comfortably sleeping up to 9 people ( plus cot ) Ocaso has 4 well proportioned bedrooms which are all furnished to a high standard. Two bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and a further two bedrooms share a third bathroom.
Ocaso is professionally managed with a 24-7 support service. Freshly laundered towels & linen are provided.

Ocaso's sun & heated pool terraces are all south facing and benefit from the Lanzarote sun all day long and have spectacular panoramic sea views.
The terrace immediately leading from the villa's lounge has a covered pergola roof with an eight seater 'alfresco' dining area and is an ideal shaded area for infants or an escape from the sun. This area has balusters with child gates running the full width of the villa, protecting the area from the heated swimming pool. The terraces have 8 luxury loungers with tables.
The upper terrace has a gated slow ramp ( not steps) with a feature glass block wall that leads down to the lower sun terrace & garden. This terrace has a feature 'Canarian' styled BBQ , seating and table area, " perfect for an evening BBQ".
Ocaso's interior layout, terraces and heated pool are purpose designed with young families in mind and are totally child friendly.

RENTAL RATES - A requirement of the Holiday Lettings web site is that we show the maximum rental rate for the maximum occupancy of Villa Ocaso i.e. 9 Persons ( 4 person occupancy price + 5 additional persons at £85 each). All rental rates are based on a minimum occupancy of 4 persons ( see Rental Rates - Group Size 4 ) and thereafter, a further charge of £85 per person per week will apply for each additional person ( up to a maximum of 9 persons ). Please Note that children under two years of age stay as guests of Ocaso and are therefore free of any charges.
We would respectfully request that guests do not smoke inside the Villa ( ashtrays are provided for all outdoor areas ).
The Villa & Terraces are thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival and the Swimming Pool is professionally maintained and cleaned twice weekly.
A welcome pack comprising of Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Bottled Water, Dish Cloths and Washing up liquid is provided with Ocaso's compliments.
Bookings are normally from Thursday Arrival- 3.00pm to Thursday Departure 10.00am. Other arrival/ departure dates may be possible subject to availability - Please Contact Us.
Conditions
A booking Condition is that you forward by fax, email or post, a copy of your Holiday Insurance for the complete party.
A deposit of £200 per week is payable on confirmation of your booking. The balance is payable in full, 8 weeks prior to your arrival date.
Rates can be subject to change - existing bookings will be honoured at the pre-increase price.
Discounts are available for last minute bookings, if your departure date is within 2 weeks and we have availability - Please Contact Us.

The Playa Blanca / Montana Roja area
Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on the Island of Lanzarote, it is approximately 37 kilometres from the Island’s Capital Arrecife and some 34 kilometres from the Airport. Playa Blanca is host to three of the finest beaches in Lanzarote, Playa Flamingo, Playa Darado and in the Village Centre, the White Sanded Beach from which Playa Blanca gets it's name. Playa Flamingo Beach/ Lagoon with restaurants and shops is only a short 600m easy walk from Villa Ocaso.
A further 15 minute walk past the harbour( ferries sail hourly to the near by island of Fuerteventura ) brings you to the picturesque, old fishing village of Playa Blanca, where you will find a wealth of fine restaurants, bars and shops along the sea front & side streets.
Playa Blanca has all the normal tourist shops that you would imagine in the centre and along the central part of the beach promenade, although not as many as the other major resorts.
If you want a more upmarket style of shopping experience, then the new Marina Rubicon is rapidly becoming the place to go.
While you can eat and drink in one of the many bars and restaurants in Playa Blanca, the tone of nightlife here is aimed at families and couples, and is not riotous as it is in other resorts on the island.
The many beaches of Papagayo - considered by some to be the best beaches in the whole of Spain & Spanish Islands - are just a 10 minute drive from the Villa.

A car is not a necessity for you to enjoy your holiday in our Playa Blanca Villa, however we do recommend you hire one, if you wish to visit and experience the many unique and beautiful sights of Lanzarote.
Specially negotiated rental prices are available to Ocaso guests, with 'Cabrera Medina', the island's largest car hire company. Prices start from £99 per week, including all insurances and taxes.
The car of your choice will be ready and waiting for you at the airport, or alternatively , it can be delivered to the villa. No deposit or payment is required until your arrival date.

What a fantastic villa, simply the best. Extremely well equipped and spotless, everything as described on your web site. A gorgeous sun soaked oasis and in easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants and shops The children enjoyed the excellent warm swimming pool and it was reassuring to know that the toddlers were safe behind the gated terrace and in the shade. We found the lower terrace, gardens and BBQ areas to be an added bonus to what was already a spectacular beautiful villa. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and hope that we would be welcome on another visit next year. Thank you Ocaso. The Allen Family. |

Our Fantastic Holiday in Lanzarote
Our holiday at this villa exceeded all our expectations. All of the rooms were beautifully presented and the pool and gardens were superb. The location of the villa is excellent within easy reach of local shops and restaurants, and we found it an excellent base for tourung the rest of the island. We enjoyed our family holiday and we were impressed that children had been thought of in the layout of the villa, gardens and pool. We would highly reccommend this to friends and family and look forward to returning in the near future.

A Cot & High Chair are provided by 'Ocaso', at no extra cost. Cot Linen is not provided, (in case of allergies).
Bath & Hand Towels are changed twice weekly and Bed Linen changed weekly. - Beach Towels are not provided. However, to save on excess luggage costs, Ocaso does offer a 'Beach Towel Hire' service....Towels are freshly laundered hotel quality and are changed weekly....Priced at 7.5 euros for 2 Towels. ( Payable to 'villa management' on arrival )

The pool is solar heated all year round and is included in the prices shown. During the summer months, the water temperature will be comfortable for swimming, however during what can be the cooler months, November to end March, we would recommend the electric heating system is switched on, to guarantee a 27/28C pool temperature at all times, this service, if required, is available at an additional cost of £50.00 per week, and can be switched on at any time during the year.
