About the home

Located at Marina Rubicon in Playa Blanca, Villa Marazul is a luxury, two-storey villa with private heated swimming pool, set in its own gardens surrounded by a sun terrace with ample seating and padded sun loungers. A built in BBQ is provided.

There is even a swimming pool at Marina Rubicon if you fancy a freshwater swim. Marina Rubicon is also host to tennis courts with a sea view. After all the excitement you can relax at El Paseo promenade with shops and restaurants surrounding Marina Rubicon in beautiful Lanzarote.

The accommodation consists of 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and 1 bathroom. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes. The large double bedroom has a built in safe. Patio doors lead on to a balcony where you can sit and enjoy the splendid views overlooking Marina Rubicon and the Atlantic Ocean. The bathroom is fully furnished with shower/bath, bidet, double hand basins and w.c.

Ground floor accommodation consists of a shady covered terrace for dining 'alfresco', leading to the tastefully furnished lounge, which includes a TV//CD/DVD player. Patio doors open on to the pool area. The modern attractive fully equipped kitchen consists of a built in oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer. The large covered utility room hosts the washing machine and drying area. The downstairs shower room is complete with toilet and hand basin.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote is the most northern of the Canaries, lying approximately 60 miles off the North West Coast of Africa. It has year round sunny climate and relatively low rain fall.

The visitor to the island will appreciate there are no polluted seas, just the crystal clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

Lanzarote, or the island of the volcanoes as it is affectionately known, boasts a landscape of over 100 volcanoes. It is therefore no surprise that many of the islands tourists attractions revolve around this ecological fact.

The islands is able to offer the usual attractions of clean attractive beaches and water sports, but what sets it apart from the rest is the many attractions that are naturally occurring.

The north of the island was formed over 3000 years ago and is where you will find the longest volcanic tube in the world (Cueva de los Verdes), and the blind albino crabs at Jameos del Agua.

Lanzarote has the pull of sun, sea and sangria, but travel a little inland and you will discover the real beauty of this stunning island.

The Playa Blanca area

Marina Rubicon is simply stunning, located near Villa Marazul in Playa Blanca. Departing Marina Rubicon are trips to Papagayo, you can also enjoy jet skiing, diving and snorkelling along the beautiful coast of Lanzarote.

Playa Blanca is in the most Southerly part of Lanzarote and is reputed to be the sunniest part of the Island. The ferry service in the town's harbour also offers you the opportunity to visit the nearby Island of Fuerteventura. On the Westerly side of Puerto Rubicon, you have the coastal promenade, taking you into the heart of Playa Blanca where there are ample restaurants, shops and bars, whilst venturing in the opposite direction will take you to the famous natural and unspoilt white beaches of Papagayo.
