Further details indoors:
Your holiday home is equipped with a mixture of furniture made locally and the best of modern equipment and appliances. It has a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, full en-suite facilities and its own terrace, plus two further good-sized bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The villa is large and has a wonderful sense of space but at the same time is welcoming and feels very private.
The kitchen and utility rooms are fully equipped with oven, induction hob, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and high quality cookware and utensils. We have had many guests comment on how well equipped the villa is and that they couldn't think of anything we had missed!
There is a comfortable and well-furnished lounge and dining room with satellite and terrestrial TV showing excellent range of english film, news and sports channels, DVDs and CD player with ipod/MP3 input (excellent selection of films and music provided). We can even hire a Playstation for you at extra charge if you really want one!
There is a full alarm system (optional and free for guest use) operated off a simple key fob, just like a car alarm. It has a built-in digital modem that will dial for assistance in the event of a break-in. There are also two safes.
Wireless Broadband Internet is available but due to local infrastructure issues this cannot be 100% guaranteed to be on at all times.
Further details outdoors:
The spacious main terrace is set in mature gardens and is provided with quality dining furniture, large parasol and six luxury sun loungers with mattresses. The matresses and umbrellas are covered with a durable resin material that doesn't fade and can be easily wiped clean.
The large private pool is a strong feature of the villa. Nearly all of our guests comment on how fantastic it is and how lovely and warm they have found it. Dpending on weather conditions, we aim to achieve 28 degrees all year round through the combination of solar panels and electric heating.
There is a roll-out high efficiency pool cover for guests to use to maintain the temperature overnight when most of the temperature looses can occur. There is a raised apron around the whole pool that helps deter little children from accidently falling in and there is a life-ring provided.
There are two ladders for access and the pool depths are clearly marked. The pool is ideal for a simple dip or for those who like to pound up and down doing lengths!
The pool is regularly cleaned and chemically checked by our agent in the resort so apart from putting the cover on, if you wish, there is nothing else you have to do except enjoy it!
The terrace comes with a quality Weber kettle BBQ and a full selection of (clean) tools.
There are wooden shutters to all windows with mosquito nets (plus an optional full ceiling mounted net for the master bedroom) and the villa has a safe.
Set in a quiet cul-de-sac position, the villa has ample off-street parking just outside the villa.
Further details
Please note that we do not charge extra for the cost of pool heating or for the cot or high chair. These are included in the price.

Enquire nowThe Lanzarote region
The most northerly and easterly of the Canary Islands, Lanzarote is 60 km long and 21 km wide over an area of 797 square km. The least mountainous of the islands, it has an average year-round temperature of 20 degrees. There is nearly always a breeze so you rarely feel uncomfortable even when it's very hot and it's generally pleasantly cool at night. The fate of this extraordinary island was decided over two and a half centuries ago, when the largest volcanic eruption in recorded history took place, leaving a strange and alluring countryside in its wake - a landscape littered with volcanoes and dark streams of jagged lava. The island remains unspoilt by the concrete tourist developments affecting neighbouring Tenerife, due largely to the influence of the artist-designer, the late Cesar Manrique who worked to preserve the island's environmental heritage and whose influence abounds. In 1994, the island was declared a 'World Reserve of the Bioshere' by UNESCO. There are numerous protected areas throughout the island and it is regarded as one of the healthiest places on earth to live. It's hard not to get away from it all on Lanzarote. The fledgling tourist industry is confined to a small number of resorts, with huge areas of unspoilt countryside, beaches and volcanic 'malpais' all within a short distance. The beaches are simply fabulous. There is something for everyone, whether you like secluded coves, wide stretches of golden sands, rocky coastlines with tidal pools or crashing breakers...you will find it all on Lanzarote. A surprise to many first time visitors is how golden the vast majority of beaches are...hardly any black sand to be found!
The Playa Blanca area
The villa is centrally located in a quiet and prestigious residential area of Playa Blanca. This is not an estate of concrete blocks or identical villas in rows. There are numerous different property types, from quite grand houses to small villas well spaced out over a mature site. Playa Blanca is fast becoming one of the island's finest tourist areas. Originally a small fishing village it has been transformed into a first class holiday resort. Most recent has been the development of Marina Rubicon, the largest private marina on the island. Effectively it's a small village of interconnecting cobbled streets lined with high class shops, cafes, and restaurants. It also now includes a great ten-pin bowling alley, mini-golf, pitch and putt golf course, shopping centre and more activities opening every few months. Playa Blanca can boast the warmest weather on Lanzarote as it is almost always basked in warm sunshine, it can also lay claim to some of the finest beaches, where the deep turquoise sea is crystal clear and always calm. There are superb views of the mountains and the islands of Lobos and Fuerteventura across the water. Playa Blanca's sea front promenade connects the beaches and is lined with shops, restaurants and bars. From the harbour at the far end of the promenade, you can catch a ferry to Fuerteventura. You can go as a foot passenger or with a car and the 15-minute crossing on the modern Fred Olsen FastCat is great fun as you can sit at the viewing deck at the front or on the open-air terrace and enjoy the ocean. The resort is great for families, with low-key and not wild nightlife and entertainment. Some of the bars offer live music and there are plenty of good quality hotels with nightly entertainment and shows suitable for all the family, open free to non-residents. The choice of restaurants is a gastronomic delight, varying from local Canarian tapas to international cuisine. A great advantage to staying in Playa Blanca is the proximity to the beaches of Papagayo. These beaches must be the most beautiful beaches on the island (and some people say in all of Spain). A visit to Papagayo is a must if you are staying in Playa Blanca, however, do take a picnic as there are no shops or facilities here, and you will need a car. All in all, the general feel of the resort is relaxed with a family feel...no lager louts or all-night clubbers here! Nevertheless there is plenty to do, both by day and by night. A location map can be found on our own website.

Villa Suenos is a very nice place to stay. We especially liked the pool and the outdoor space. We found it spacious and with a lot of privacy, although there are neighbours it is not overlooked and... more Response: Thanks. You obviously had a good time at the villa. So glad it met your expectations and really felt like home from home. |

It was our first trip to Lanzarote and Jackie and Mark could not have been more helpful. Their directions made arrival stress free and the villa was exactly as described. The gardens and views are lovely. Inside everything was very well equipped, comfortable and user friendly. Outside there were plenty of loungers and different seating areas all around the lovely swimming pool. Playa Blanca itself is wonderful. Having looked around the island and talked to lots of people, Playa Blanca is the place to be. Response: Thanks for the super review and hope to see you back at the villa before too long. |

We have just arrived back from a week long stay at this Villa. It was beautiful and perfect. The photos just dont do it justice even though they are lovely. The Villa has everything you could need... more Response: Thanks for the great review. We often get feedback that our photos don't do the villa justice. I keep taking more but but I think the villa has to be seen in real life to be fully appreciated. |
