About the home

The villa has been completely refurbished and redecorated throughout and the villa now has a contemporary and upmarket feel. Of all the magnificent features within the house and gardens if there is one that really stands out for us it's the fabulous sun terrace and traditional BBQ which have been carefully designed to give the maximum sun time from early morning to the late evening. For those who prefer some shade the covered in Pergolas provide that on two sides of the villa.

Inside there are 4 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the other 3 bedrooms are twin rooms, both with shower rooms next to them - one of the twin rooms is en suite. 3 bedrooms have ceiling fans.

The kitchen is equipped to a high standard, with all the modern equipment you would expect from a villa of this standard. For example, a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, ceramic hob, oven, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, and other general equipment.

The lounge has comfortable sofas and benefits from satelite television and DVD player (DVDs not supplied).

The villa itself is a mere 5 minute walk to the centre of Playa Blanca and then to the west (about another 5 minutes) is the beach of Playa Dorada which has a variety of water activities including jet skis, Para gliding, banana boats etc.

5 minutes walk to the to the East of the villa is the Harbour which has frequent ferries to Fuerteventura, a Glass Bottom Boat, Scuba Diving, Galleon Sailing and Private Yacht Hire

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote is said to be one of the most unusual and beautiful of the Canary Islands. It lies just 95 Km off the west coast of Africa and not far from the south west of the Spanish peninsua. This fantastic location means you are ensured high temperatures any time of the year and Lanzarote benefits from more days of sunshine and fewer days of rain compared to any of the other islands. The high temperatures are eased by the cool breeze making it ideal for sunbathing, sporting activities and exploring the many areas of culture by day and in the evening there are many bars and restaurants perfect for relaxing over a leisurely meal.

The island is particularly famous for its 'lunar' landscapes and consists of almost 300 volcanoes. There are many areas to explore and from the volcanic mountains the views are spectaculour. The rocky coastlines are broken up by the beautiful golden sandy beaches and the different greenery and agriculture.

The Playa Blanca / Los Calamares area

The villa is in a fantstic location being just 500m from the stunning Playa Blanca beach. Here you will find an assortment of seafront cafes, restaurants and supermarkets.

Playa Blanca benefits from the best of the weather and sunshine due to it being on the South Coast of the island. The villa is close to a harbour where you can hop on the ferry over to Fuerteventura. There is a newly developed marina where you will find many shops, restaurants and 10 pin bowling to challenge your family and friends to a friendly tournement.

Located in Playa Blanca, specifically in the beautiful area of Los Calamares - Villa El Pescador is ideally located, only being 5 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket, restaurant and 10 minutes walk to the local beach. Taxis are relatively cheap and plentiful, so if you don't fancy walking or would like to go a little further a field, just flag one down.

Travelling to Lanzarote is easily done. There are main airlines that have routes to lanzarotes airport - Arrecife (ACE). Such as www.flythomascook.co.uk or www.thomsonfly.co.uk or www.firstchoice.co.uk and many more. The flight normally takes no more than 4 hours.

From the airport, Playa Blanca is only a half hour drive.

For the rental rate chart based on 4 people: - For more than 4 people please add £100 per person per week, upto a maximum of 8 people.

As a CONDITION of booking we will require a copy of your holiday insurance. This can be faxed or emailed.

The pool is solar heated all year, and during the summer months, this will be sufficient for swimming in the pool and is included in the prices shown. However during what can be the cooler months. November to end March, we would recommend the electric heating system is switched on, to guarantee 27/28C at all times, which costs an extra £65.00 a week. It is possible to use this additional system all year, if required.

Bookings are normally from Thursday 3.00 PM to Thursday 10.00 am. Other transit days will be considered based on availability, please ask.

A deposit of £200 per week (non-refundable) is payable on confirmation of booking. The Balance is to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.

Please Note, children under 2 are our guests, so there is no charge.

PLEASE NOTE: for 10 day holidays, extra towels will be provided at the beginning of your holiday, but no mid term clean or linen change will be provided, unless specifically requested and paid for seperately, in which case please let us know how we can best assist you.

***Hire Chairs, Cots and Child Seats *** are available for hire at 20 Euros a week, per item.

A Playstation 2 is also available for hire at 30 euros per week (subject to availability). However you must bring your own games and memory cards.
