About the home

Villa Elise is a luxury 2 story villa with both bedrooms being upstairs. The master bedroom has a large king size bed and doors leading out to the upper terrace with its table and chairs from which those fabulous views with can be enjoyed at any time of the day. Whether it’s with your morning coffee or in the evening to watch the spectacular sun sets, with a glass of wine.

This is an ideal location for families, couples or small groups of friends. It is close enough to all essential amenities not to make a car a necessity, but far enough away, not to be disturbed by any of the local night life.

The second bedroom is a twin room with en suite. Both bedrooms have air conditioning units which can either be used as cooling, heating, dehumidifying etc.

Downstairs the kitchen has all the modern appliances you would expect in a new property, that has been beautifully set out to make you instantly feel at home with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven, ceramic hob, fridge freezer, glassware, cutlery and crockery; are all included.

There is a good size lounge with 2 comfortable sofas, and again air-conditioning, should it be required. When seated you can still see that magnificent view or if you prefer there is a wide screen television to watch. The villa has satellite television with a good selection of channels. There is also a DVD player (DVDs not supplied).

Further details outdoors:
Outside there is a south facing sun terrace with private heated pool. There is also seating for up to 6 people for those evenings in and around the BBQ.

From the villa's location it is about a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach and just around the corner from there is the start of a magnificent promenade which offers fantastic views and tranquil walks along the front all the way through the Marina and onto the centre of Playa Blanca.

In the opposite direction to the promenade are the world famous Papagayo Beaches which on foot will take about 20 minutes to reach

About a 5 minute walk from the villa is a very large Netto Supermarket, and Taxi rank so shopping could not be easier for a self catering holiday.

As an additional extra THE VILLA HAS AIR-CONDITIONING THROUGH OUT THE PROPERTY AVAILABLE ON A PAY AS YOU GO SYSTEM, for perfect sleeping conditions irrespective of the weather.

***NEW*** This villa now has a pool alarm facility. The alarm works by detecting water movement in the pool, the alarm sounds both at the pool side and on a remote unit which can be moved into any room within the villa. The unit can be rented at 50 euros per week.

As a condition of booking we will require a copy of your holiday insurance. This can be faxed or emailed

Bookings are normally from Thursday 3.00 PM to Thursday 10.00 am. Other transit days will be considered based on availability, please ask.

Early arrivals are not a problem, please tell us what your times are, and we will do our best to accommodate you whilst the villa is being prepared. Up till 10.00am thought is still the previous guest’s holiday.

CAR HIRE can arranged, please ask for details.

Please note - for 10 day holidays, extra towels will be provided at the beginning of your holiday, but no mid term clean or linen change will be provided, unless specifically requested and paid for separately, in which case please let us know how we can best assist you.

A Play Station 2 is also available for hire at 30 euros per week (subject to availability). However you must bring your own games and memory cards.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote is said to be one of the most unusual and beautiful of the Canary Islands. It lies just 95 Km off the west coast of Africa and not far from the south west of the Spanish peninsula. This fantastic location means you are ensured high temperatures any time of the year and Lanzarote benefits from more days of sunshine and fewer days of rain compared to any of the other islands. The high temperatures are eased by the cool breeze making it ideal for sunbathing, sporting activities and exploring the many areas of culture by day and in the evening there are many bars and restaurants perfect for relaxing over a leisurely meal.

The island is particularly famous for its 'lunar' landscapes and consists of almost 300 volcanoes. There are many areas to explore and from the volcanic mountains the views are spectacular. The rocky coastlines are broken up by the beautiful golden sandy beaches and the different greenery and agriculture.

The Playa Blanca / Marina Rubicon area

The villa is in a fantastic location being just 10 minutes walk from the fabulous Marina Rubicon. Here you will find an assortment of seafront cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and selection of designer clothing shops.

Playa Blanca benefits from the best of the weather and sunshine due to it being on the South Coast of the island. The villa is close to a harbour where you can hop on the ferry over to Fuerteventura. There is a newly developed marina where you will find many shops, restaurants and 10 pin bowling to challenge your family and friends to a friendly tournament.

Located in Playa Blanca, specifically in the beautiful area of the new marina Rubicon - Villa Elise is ideally located, only being 5 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket, 10 minutes to the closest restaurant and local beach. Taxis are relatively cheap and plentiful, so if you don't fancy walking or would like to go a little further a field, there is a taxi rank by the nearest supermarket.

Travelling to Lanzarote is easily done. There are main airlines that have routes to lanzarotes airport - Arrecife (ACE). Such as www.flythomascook.co.uk or www.thomsonfly.co.uk or www.firstchoice.co.uk and many more. The flight normally takes no more than 4 hours.

From the airport, Playa Blanca is only a half hour drive.

For the rental rate chart based on 2 people: - For more than 2 people please add £50 per person per week, upto a maximum of 4 people.

The pool is solar heated all year, and during the summer months, this will be sufficient for swimming in the pool and is included in the prices shown. However during what can be the cooler months. November to end March, we would recommend the electric heating system is switched on, to guarantee 27/28C at all times, which costs an extra £60.00 a week. It is possible to use this additional system all year, if required.

A deposit of £150.00 per week (non-refundable) is payable on confirmation of booking. The balance is to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. Children under 2 are our guests, so there is no charge.

Rates shown can be subject to change, existing bookings taken where prices increase will be honoured.

A welcome pack: - consisting, of tea, water, sugar, coffee, milk, biscuits, wine/cava is included in the above prices. We are happy to provide additional food for your holiday, please let us have your list, and you can pay us for this on your arrival.

High chairs, cots and child seats are available for hire at 20 Euros a week, per item.
