About the home
Casa Kato is a fantastic luxury villa with one of the best views in Lanzarote. Not only does it boast a fabulous panoramic view of sea and mountains, you get to enjoy it in full privacy (walled on both sides) from the large sun terrace or in the 6 seater jacuzzi. This is one view you can sit and admire for hours!
Other great features include, the swimming pool (electrically heated to a pleasant 28 degrees all year), wi-fi broadband internet, Sky satellite TV, Playstation and a large stone barbecue.
Inside, the villa is impressive with quality furnishing throughout. The lounge area has two comfortable settees, and there is a DVD player as well as the satellite TV. An excellent selection of DVDs, CDs and books are available. The modern kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, oven/hobs, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Outside there is an al-fresco style dining area with large table and chairs seating eight.
All the bedrooms are a good size. Two bedrooms have double beds both with en-suite bathrooms with jacuzzi style baths and overhead showers. The third and fourth bedrooms have twin beds. There is a third bathroom with a walk in shower. All the bedrooms have excellent wardrobe space. A cot and highchair are also available at no extra charge.
All in all a great villa we feel sure you will want to return to year after year.

Lanzarote is a fabulous island with all year sunshine and great temperatures making this an ideal destination at any time of the year.
The island has attractions to suit everyone. Timanfaya Park - a live volcano is a must, as are the Cueves Caves (with their secret surprise!). The Manrique Foundation, Cactus Gardens, El Golfo (green lagoon) & Mirador view are also worth a visit. For younger people there is waterpark & for golfers two courses at Tias & Costa Teguise. The island is also a favourite for cyclists and triathlon athletes (host of the famous Ironman competition).
The island has many fine sandy beaches, notably the famous Papagayo Beach near Playa Blanca.
The Playa Blanca area
Playa Blanca is a town which has grown from a small fishing village in recent years. Thankfully it has retained it's beauty and the walkway along the coastline is a truly lovely place to be. Playa Blanca itself has three golden sandy beaches.
The town has many fabulous restaurants to suit everyone's taste - nothing beats sitting on the front admiring the view across the sea to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura.
Whilst Playa Blanca has many restaurants and bars, it has avoided the larger louts and is especially suited to families, elderly and young couples.
