About the home

Based on a modern residential complex, this two bedroom/ 2 bathroom house provides the ideal holiday base for families, friends or couples.The complex has both an adult and a children's pool area, surrounded by a sun-bathing deck. It provides an ideal base to take advantage of all the islands many activities

There are two sandy beaches within 10 minutes drive which have good facilities for swimming, sun bathing and family activities. The village itself has supermarkets, shops and restaurants to suit every taste and budget.

For those enjoying more strenuous activities there are several watersports centres close by offering sailing and diving.

If sightseeing is more your cup of tea, the island is home to the Cesar Manrique foundation which has several sites with modern art, sculpture and design.There's even a James Bond type house!
The island also has its own wine growing area and several vineyards offer tasting sessions. Make sure you have your designated driver at the ready

On several different days there are craft markets in the village and a larger one further afield every Sunday to get your holiday bargains.

If you want some nightlife, the village has numerous bars which open late or drive into Puerto del Carmen for night clubs, caberet and even a casino.

The house is well-appointed and furnished in a contemporary style.It has an open-plan lounge with TV, DVD, Sat TV, CD and Ipod dock. There are comfortabale leather sofas inside and a patio with table and chairs for six so that you can enjoy having a drink in the evenings.

There are an array of books, games, CDs and DVDs to make your stay comfortable and hopefully like home-from-home.

There is a full kitchen with stove and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils for making cooking at home quite easy.

At the rear of the house, there is a utility room with washing machine and tumble drier and also items such as the ironing board and iron.

Downstairs houses one twin bedroom and a bathroom. There is also a sofa bed available for occasional use by agreement only.

Upstairs there is a bedroom with kingsize bed with memory foam matress and an en suite bathroom. This bedroom also has a balcony from which you can see the sea giving a pleasant vista

For smaller members of the family there is a cot available too. The lounge houses a sofa bed and we can accommodate a further two people. Please note that there is an extra charge for this and notification must be given at time of booking.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote is a small island based off the coast of Africa so benefits from all year round good weather.As the island is formed from volcanic lava, there is a lunar landscape which provides some spectacular scenery.

It has a number of larger towns for shopping and every day facilities but the real pleasure of the island is the small villages and bays with bars and restaurants where you can spend many a happy hour

This well maintained house is based in the village of Playa Blanca on the Canarian Island of Lanzarote.

Lanzarote benefits from a year- round warm climate and is only about 4 hours from the UK. The main airport of Arrecife is serviced by flights from most UK airports and offers schedule and charter flights. Car hire can be organised in advance and most major operators have representation at the airport terminal and in towns.

The driving on the island is easy and the road network is well developed and signposted.

The house is about 40 minutes drive from the airport and is easily negotiated whatever time your flight arrives.

On booking, we're always happy to provide a full list of carriers and car hire companies which should cover every need.

There is extra charge of £50 per head for a 5th and 6th person to cover all extra cleaning and maintenance costs.

A £150 security deposit will be held and returned after cleaning and inspection of house.

A 30% non-refundable deposit will be expected at time of booking and full payment must be made 8 weeks before departure.
