About the home

This is a fabulous self catering holiday villa in the sought after location of Los Calamares. Popular due to its location and closeness to all the local amenities.

Villa Stephanie is just a one minute walk to the mini golf and bar on Los Calamares, a three minute walk to the new Hyper Dino supermarket and just a five minute walk to the beach and town centre for the superb bars and restaurants, so that fresh crusty rolls and cold beers are always available! It makes an ideal choice for families wanting to be very close to all that Playa Blanca has to offer.

Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.

The seafront is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (one of the best on the island) & Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere and is becoming the most popular resort on the island of Lanzarote!

Villa Stephanie has 4 bedrooms. A master bedroom with double bed, fitted wardrobe & ceiling fan. 2nd & 3rd bedrooms have twin beds in each, fitted wardrobes & ceiling fans & 4th bedroom has bunkbeds, wardrobe & is very popular with the youngsters! A travel cot & highchair are available free on request.

The family bathroom, is spacious & features a bath, separate walk in shower, wash hand basin & W.C. There is a shower room which is en suite to the master bedroom, & also has a walk in shower, wash hand basin and W.C.

The tastefully decorated lounge overlooks the pool and is very pretty & comfortable. It has wifi & satellite tv/cd/dvd. Double doors lead out to the gated terrace/BBQ/pool area, which is both beautiful and practical if you are on holiday with young children. The garden is large and beautifully cared for.

The separate kitchen is modern & fully fitted, with full oven & hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Other appliances include; Kettle, toaster, coffee maker, iron and board.

Further details outdoors:
Double doors lead out to the covered terrace with bbq area & down to the large heated swimming pool which has safety fencing; practical for those on holiday with young children but removable for all adult parties.

The large private, heated pool is perfect for families and omfortable sun loungers are provided for your enjoyment, so you can sit round the pool & soak up the warm Lanzarote sunshine.

The villa has outside security lighting, an intruder alarm, an inside safe and an outside keysafe.

The Lanzarote region

QUICKLY becoming known as 'The Jewel In Lanzarote's Crown', Playa Blanca is a beautiful resort that retains its original charm and sleepy atmosphere.

AT the southernmost tip of Lanzarote, once a small fishing village, It is now a flourishing but tranquil resort with beautiful beaches bordered by a picturesque restaurant-lined promenade. Playa Blanca has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront, you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km (20 mins,) ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.

IF you only manage to visit one tourist attraction in Lanzarote, it has to be the "Timanfaya National Park". Buses are laid on to take you on a 40 minute journey through the volcanoes & if you fancy some lunch, you can have your meal cooked on a volcanic barbecue!

August 2011 Holiday.

Wow what a holiday ! Villa is beautiful, clean and in excellent location.
Our three kids loved the pool and it was a real pain persuading them to go to the resorts lovely beaches. Everything is really close buy for shopping and entertainment. We used the bar in the complex next door (Las Brias) for cheap and easy drinks. The hotel just up the road for kids disco's and there is a mini golf course just 3 mins walk away !

Resort centre was only 10mins stroll for all the bars and restaurants.

Would not hesitate in recommending this villa and would definately stay again.”

“We stayed at Villa Stephanie for 7 nts in June, and can highly recommend choosing Paul and Susan's villa!!!! The whole party filled the villa with plenty of space for all 8 of us. The pool was a welcome retreat in the heat, and our evenings spent on the terrace playing cards were such fun. The kitchen was really well equipped, and the supermarket full of typical Spanish treats, so lunch by the pool was quite a decent affair!!! The bedrooms were clean, tidy, and nicely presented with ample space to store the holiday wardrobe. We chose the transfers Paul and Susan provide, and this proved invaluable. Not only was the journey from the airport swift it was made all the more enjoyable for the helpful knowledge given on the Journey. We were keen to spend our time wisely in the week we had, and the trips we took on their recommendation, were brilliant. The Villa, is your home from home. Set in a private and peaceful spot just 5 to 10 minutes walk away. The resort was bigger than I expected, but it still had that relaxed, village with a past, balanced with the more modern hotels and facilities. Brilliant villa, amazing holiday, would advise for a secure, definitely going to be good, holiday experience to book Villa Stephanie in Los Calamares.”

“We enjoyed a special family holiday at the lovely Villa Stephanie early Oct 2010 to celebrate my mum's 80th birthday, the youngest member of the family was just 1 year old. We were met at the airport by Paul and transported to the villa. Paul showed us round and made us feel very welcome, although we didn't need Paul and Susan during our stay we were left in no doubt they were available if we did need them. The pool is excellent and very comfortable to swim in due to being heated. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace after a night out - so easy to reach all the bars and restaurants as the walk to the sea front is flat. Sometimes we ate in and just ambled to the little bar attached to the mini golf course (less than 5 mins away) for a pre BBQ drink or two. We would not hesitate to recommend Villa Stephanie or Susanna next door, it is perfect for all age groups and the transport to and from the airport offered by Susan and Paul made the whole holiday effortless especially on the last day as we were able to stay in the villa until the afternoon as the next guests were arriving later in the evening, they may not always be able to do this but if they can they will - it was very much appreciated! Thank you”

“A superbly situated villa, very close to the town, beach and restaurants, the villa is very well equipped with everything you need and it was pristine clean. A lovely pool in private and quiet surroundings, plenty big enough for eight. Susan and Paul were very helpful with any questions we had about the area etc. We all had a fantastic time here and I can only praise it, if you are looking for the right place to stay in Playa Blanca, this is it!”

With 2 small children the gated pool is definately a must! they also benefited from the shady terrace whilst we sunned ourselves by the pool.
The location is great,beach,supermarket & restaurants all within easy walking distance (even with small children!)
It is a real home from home-we will be definately be returning!”

We found the villa to be spacious, clean and had everything we needed.
The pool was especially nice - always a lovely temperature !
The location is perfect if you dont want to hire a car, everything within walking distance.

“Superb villa, convenient for all amenities, shops and beach. Excellent communication with owners from start to finish. On arrival the villa was very clean and welcoming even with tea, coffee and biscuits provided which was a pleasant surprise. I was happy to see that there was a large supermarket just a few minutes walking distance and so daily visits were easy and quick. The pool was wonderful, clean and warm, the children had so much fun and we were able to keep a close eye as you can see the pool from the lounge and terrace. Loved the large BBQ!! We will be back in next year, can't wait!!! Prompt return of our security deposit was most appreciated. Would recommend this villa and its location without hesitation.”

“All the websites we looked at that featured this villa led us to believe that it was a luxury getaway. We were not disappointed.

The villa was indeed just a five minute walk away from everything you can possible need - cafes, supermarkets, bars and restaurants.

On arrival we found the villa immaculate. Everything was spotless. All equipment was working. The pool was maintained at a lovely temperature and cleaned twice in the week we were there (very nice chap)! In fact, to complete our stay, the only things we had to buy were food and a small amount of wine!

Playa Blanca was very, very quiet (not a bad thing). Prices on drinks varied but food was reasonable and very good. All areas of Playa Blanca were immaculate - no time share touts, street sellers or even people bullying you into eating in their restaurants - these are not allowed! We would definitely stay at this villa again...maybe quite soon!”
