The Lanzarote region
Lanzarote, perhaps the most unusual of the Canary Islands, lies approximately 95 Km off the west coast of Africa and 1100 Km south west of the Spanish peninsula. This position ensures year round high temperatures, more days of sunshine and fewer days of rain than the other islands. Summer temperatures can be in the 90's although these are always tempered by cooling breezes - ideal for sunbathing and sport during the day and comfortable in the evenings for relaxing over a leisurely meal or drink at one of the many bars and restaurants.
Only about 45Km long and around 18Km at its widest point, the island is famous for its dramatic lunar landscape of almost 300 volcanoes. Views of volcanic mountains, picon covered fields and rocky coastlines are broken up by a large number of beautiful golden sandy beaches and an amazing amount of well attended greenery and agriculture.
The Playa Blanca / Vista Lobos area
The villa is located less than 15 minutes walk from Playa Flamingo beach where there are seafront cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. The resort centre is 20 mins walk. There is a supermarket and taxi rank within a 2 minute walk. Playa Blanca is situated on the south coast of the island and has the best of the weather and sunshine, particularly in the southwest corner where Faro Park is situated. It has been tastefully developed and has spectacular beaches, in particular the famous Papagayo and Playa Flamingo, which are within easy reach of the villa. It has a beautiful pedestrianised shopping area as well as many seaside bars, cafes and excellent restaurants. The harbour where you can catch the ferry to Fuerteventura is a few minutes drive away, as is the stunning new marina with it's cafes, shops, restaurants and 10 pin bowling. All in all, a magnificent place to have the holiday you've dreamt of!

Superb villa. Highly equipped, we wanted for nothing, right down to the well stocked kitchen, including masses of Denby pottery. The hot tub and heated pool were excellent. Hifi, allowing you to chill out inside or out, whilst listening to some sounds. Great outside eating area with BBQ. Pool tablewas great and the full sky package was welcome, so didn't have to search for the game, all kept us entertained. Outside shower (fully enclosed), surrounded by volcanic rock bricks, was a great experience. Wifi, not fast or great area coverage, was enough to keep in touch by email, or surf the net, although Skype was a little too much. We had a fabulous time, and would strongly recommend this pad, for a true 5* break. |

Can I just say we have had a lovely time at your villa. Your villa is beautiful. I've stayed on this complex for the last 4 years and this is by far the nicest villa. The attention to detail was brilliant. It was like being at home finding Denby crockery in the kitchen cupboards. I was really impressed. Thank you so much for letting it out to us. I was wondering if it was free again next year. We always come to Lanzarote this time of year so finding a villa as nice as this has been great.
