Casa Roper is a luxury two bedroom villa situated a short stroll from the newly developed Marina Rubicon. It is tastefully furnished throughout and has excellent outside facilities for those hot days and balmy nights. It is conveniently located with the nearest supermarket and taxi rank being only metres away. A short walk takes you to the wonderful marina which has many excellent restaurants for eating out and a further stroll along the promenade takes you into Playa Blanca which has a wide variety of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. Ideal for families and couples seeking relaxation.

The villa is stylishly furnished throughout with a light and airy ambience. The villa consists of a lounge/dining room with leather suite, Satellite TV, DVD player with a large selection of DVD's, CD and ceiling fan. There are dining facilities to seat 4 people.

Patio doors from the lounge lead out to the beautiful spacious south facing garden and tiled patio area which is furnished with sun loungers, patio dining furniture and gas BBQ for all day and night enjoyment. There is a private heated swimming pool and outside shower.

The kitchen is contemporary in style and well equipped. It contains a washing machine, dish washer, kettle, toaster, sandwich toaster, full oven and hob, microwave and fridge freezer. The kitchen leads to a utility room which has washing facilities including iron and board. There is also a highchair, cot and stair gate for people with young families.

The first floor consists of 2 bedrooms and main bathroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed, built in wardrobe, ceiling fan I pod station. Patio doors lead out onto a balcony with lovely sea views and the island of Fuerteventura.

The second bedroom is spacious and has twin beds, built in wardrobes and ceiling fan.. A built in safe is located in the wardrobe.

The bathroom is light and airy with a bath, power shower, sink vanity unit, toilet and bidet. On the ground floor is a second bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote enjoys a mild dry climate with average daytime temperatures ranging from about 21°C in January to 29°C in August. Annual rainfall is just 140mm (5.5 inches). This makes Lanzarote the perfect year-round destination

The Playa Blanca / Marina Rubicon area

Playa Blanca lies at the south of the island and still retains the atmosphere of a once small fishing village. This flourishing resort is ideal for families and couples.

The nearby marina rubicon which opened in 2004 has an array of up-market shops, restaurants and bars which you can enjoy whilst taking in the lovely views. There is a shopping centre which has a bowling alley and supermarket. There is a local market there on wed and sat selling lovely locally made souvenirs.


The main resort of Playa Blanca is a 10 minute walk from the marina where you will find a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants as well as two sandy beaches. There are several excursions which depart from the port including a trip to the nearby island of Furteventura which is a 15 minute trip by catamaran and departs several times daily.

The house is situated 35 kilometres from Arrecife airport, a drive taking approx 25 minutes. The cost of a taxi is around 35 euro each way. A car is not considered essential as all amenities are within walking distance or a short taxi ride however if you would liked to explore the island a car hire company is situated at the end of the road The nearest supermarket is 100 yards at the end of the road

“Great Villa , Great location ,Great service” We stayed in Casa Roper for two weeks in april. Having used holiday lettings before this was the best accomodation we have stayed in and the best service we have received. Firstly the owners Joanne and Kevin could not have been more helpful. The booking process was swift and efficient , and even though I had to make a few changes it was not a problem.Nice people ! The villa was excactly what had been described ,2 good size bedrooms, very well equipped from bedding to kitchen appliances.A lovely lounge which led out to the pool. The heated pool itself was lovely , plenty big enough to have a dip, and checked out often by the owners which is a good thing. The villa is around 10 to 15 minutes walk to a gorgeous marina and another 10 to the centre of town and the beaches. If you prefer a taxi into town it was about 4 euros. Also if you are eating in there is a good supermarket literally a minute away ,my wife enjoyed the ronaldo lookalike on the till !!!. Thanks to kevin and joanne , for a great villa and making us feel very welcome.

“A lovely villa in an ideal location” First visit at this villa. Its in an ideal location,within walking distance to marina and playa blanca. The villa was very well equipped for all your needs, and very clean. We loved the peace and quiet. The villa is practically next to the supermarket which was brilliant. Joanne and Kevin who own the villa are really nice and very easy to contact if you need anything. The pool was cleaned once a week which is adaquate. The only thing missing was internet access. Defo going back have booked again for 2013.

“Lovely quiet location within walking distance to beach/Marina” Had a great holiday. We were amazed at how quiet and peaceful the area is.Villa had everything we needed. We arrived early evening to a little pakage of bread milk tea and coffee which was gratefully welcomed. Villa had pool toys and swimming aids which enabled our five year old to get straight in the pool. Outside area is big and has sun and shade most of the day. Would definatley book again.

“Excellent stay” We have just returned from a great holiday at Casa Roper. The villa is extremely well furnished and in a great location. Joanne the owner was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We enjoyed ourselves so much we are hoping to return for a weeks holiday during the winter. I would have no hesitaion recommending this lovely villa to my family and friends.
