From the owner

Our bungalow in Lanzarote is situated in the south of the island in the very pleasant fishing village of Playa Blanca, half an hour's drive from the airport. The complex is called Casas del Sol & is very well established. It is situated right in the center of the village,a short stroll from the harbor & excellent shops & restaurants. Despite this it is extremely quiet & peaceful. The complex has a reception area with helpful staff,& a small shop for essentials like water & milk. There is a large heated pool, a small children's pool, two tennis courts & boules pitch. The gardens are very well kept.

Our bungalow has a large secluded; private patio with table; chairs; & sun loungers. Inside there is a large living area with IPTV showing UK ,German Spanish & Dutch television,& with many films & box sets available to view There is also a DVD playerThe kitchen is very well equipped for self-catering with electric oven; hob, fridge-freezer; & microwave.There are two bedrooms One bedroom has twin beds &,the other has bunk beds , but really the house is only suitable for two adults & up to two young children.

The bungalow has very good satellite internet access

I am extremely disappointed by this review which seems to be describing a different bungalow! In response to your comments 1There ARE mosquito nets at the windows in both bedrooms 2 The two single beds are from Ikea and were new in 2023 3 I agree the bedroom is small. 4 The broken tiles on the bedroom floor had not previously been reported & were attended to immediately by Casas del Sol staff 5 The floor fan is on a timer. No one else has ever reported this as a problem, but I admit we never use the fan ourselves-probably because the windows are open with the mosquito blinds down !! 6The television was simply for watching DVDs. It states clearly in the advert that cable TV is not available. ( In fact we have now put in IPTV) 7 The washing machine works perfectly 8 The outside chair was immediately replaced when the fault was reported to reception 9 New knives have been bought. It is very helpful when guests report problems like this which are easily resolved & which I may not be aware of 10 The shower door is a standard size. I am 5’8 & don’t have to duck ! I am really sorry you thought our bungalow was old & tired & that it spoiled your holiday Having just spent a glorious two months here , I would completely disagree however. Casas del Sol staff are extremely helpful & I am sure would have been able to assist with mosquito nets DVD player washing machine & sharp knives. I hope you can return to Casas del Sol sometime in the future & have an enjoyable stay

Why can't I call Ingrid (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ingrid (the owner) a message.

If Ingrid (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
